Very happy here good facilities friendly helpful staff.

Great hotel. Facilities are good. Buffet breakfast is good. The staff work hard to make your stay pleasant. Four stars vs. five because they showed me as having cancelled my reservation due to some disconnect between them and Expedia. This took about 20 minutes to sort out.

Excellent location. It’s just across the road for the water taxis to the West Bank - for tombs and air balloon. Just around the corner is Luxor Temple. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable. I was really happy with my stay.

We arrived late afternoon to our ‘Second Home’. Though it was several years since we had stayed it was like we had never been away. The welcome was fabulous and greeting all our old friends was great. Our room overlooked the Nile and in the distance we could clearly see the Temple of Hatshepsut. We enjoyed watching the hot-air balloons rising above the Nile each morning. So peaceful yet exhilarating. We were only staying a week this time but a day a week or a month lends itself to great relaxing holiday. All the staff are all fantastic and though everyone deserves a mention we must say thanks to Ali Mohamed who is and always has been an asset to the hotel. He has the command of superb English and a vast knowledge of all things ‘Luxor‘. Gigi a newer addition to the team was excellent and always went the extra mile to help all the guests. Reception, housekeeping, dining room staff, security and of course the hidden staff running this vast hotel in the background, including Mr Nagi and Mr Mokhlis, should all be highly commended for making our stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to return.

Comfortable and very well positioned - just across the road from the Nile and 10 mins walk from Luxor Temple. This is a large hotel, with a fabulous pool (cold in Feb though) and good facilities. Breakfast is huge and a good quality. Rooms have balconies. They face in all directions - so some have much better views than others. It felt as if it catered for tourists and for business, with conference rooms and some shops inside.

My experience here has been absolutely terrible. From the moment I arrived, everything has been a disappointment. They rarely answer calls on the first attempt, and even when they do, their service is painfully slow. Despite charging like a high-end hotel, the service quality is worse than a budget stay. One of the most frustrating experiences was when I reported a bathroom issue. It took them almost six hours to send a technician, leaving me extremely uncomfortable. When he finally arrived, he fixed the problem, but the delay was unacceptable. Basic amenities are also a problem here. You are given just one bottle of water upon arrival, and after that, you have to pay for more even though water should be a basic necessity. The staff, instead of being helpful, are often rude and unresponsive. No matter what you request whether it's a prayer mat, an extra towel, a three-pin adapter, or even just water, they simply ignore or refuse to provide it. Overall, this has been one of the worst stays of my life. Poor service, unprofessional staff, and an overall lack of hospitality make it a complete disaster. I strongly advise everyone to avoid staying here. You will only end up frustrated and disappointed.

A terrible experience staying here was my biggest mistake! The super rude staff, tired & old rooms, dirty stuff inside the room. We stayed here for two nights. On first night the flush stopped working. We informed the receptionist we are unable to use washroom around 6am in the morning. Upon following up 3 times someone was sent at 10am to fix the issue! I also requested a prayer mat before , the receptionist answered he will send it by housekeeping and that also never arrived! Upon asking for water , they mentioned one bottle for two days is provided 😳😳 Upon stepping out of the hotel, all vendors outside will literally attack you to take their services. I will not recommend this hotel at all , it's over priced and very bad service.

We notified the desk that we were arriving early and asked if we could have an earlier checkin. The hotel did not seem the least bit busy. At 1pm, the desk said our room would be ready in 40 min. We checked against 2, at 3 we were finally shown to our room, which was still being cleaned. The flors has just been mopped and we’re still very wet. The entire place could use a refresh and serious cleaning.
