Everything. Trash piled up like snowdrifts. For a non smoking property it reeks of smoke and cigarette butt's are everywhere. Abandoned cars take up several parking places. Exposed drywall not repaired and bathrooms that are too nasty to use. We didn't even stay the night it was so bad. I want my money back.

Hello. My name is Kimberly Scott and I stayed at mountain view inn in yreka CA from the 10 th to the 16th of January. I paid to stay from the 20 th to the 17 th. I was offered to rent by the week and I agreed to $350 a week. Room 103. The manager Jim told me that if I want to keep my room he strongly advise me to pay for a week or more ahead. Before he said no refund if I left sooner than what I paid for. So then he said no you'll get your refund. I said okay and I paid for a week in advance from the 18 th to the 24 th of January. I checked out on the 16 th. I called the night before and the next morning to let him know I was checking out and needed my refund. He said no problem just come get it when I check out. I left after noon time so was understandably charged for the following day. But when I checked out and asked for my refund I was denied it. Then I was told I could get it at five PM same day. He did not give me my refund. Then I was told I will only get $260 ! It should be $350 plus a day at $50. I was told I could pick up my money today at five o'clock. I still don't have it! I was even willing to accept the $260 and be done with it. Now he won't even call me. I'm almost certain that when I called today it was Jim but he denied it. I can't prove that but all the same I'm getting robbed! It's the 21 st and still no money. I'm extremely upset because I don't have much and I need the money for rent of a house room rental in town. The landlord is very upset with me over this. I'm literally compelled to do something about this. I'm a disabled senior and if I don't get my full amount of money $400 I will have no choice accept to contact the ADA American disability act to file a complaint and lawsuit and ask for even more money. This has been very distressing. I'm on a limited low income. Jim blamed you... the owners.... for being gone on vacation and telling Jim that nothing can be done until you return on this day January 21. The money would be ready in the form of a check by 5 PM today. He complained you owners have a million dollar house and pay them under minimum wage illegally. And that this is all your fault. And he also changed his story saying he was only renting me the room by the month. Well my friend was there with me talking to Jim to clarify the terms and will witness on my behalf that what I'm telling you is true and accurate. Jim lied to me and stole my money. I'll never rent a room there again nor refer anyone. If this is not resolved immediately I will have no choice but to file a case with the court. I am disabled and a senior and this is not just a crime but it's also discrimination. Please I'm giving the chance to avoid problems and fix this without bringing the law into our business. This property was the worst place that we have been. Nothing good in that place.

I didn’t like anything. The reception was dirty, smelled moldy. The room smelled terrible, the bed looked uneven, the carpet was dirty!! The “hotel” must be closed for health reasons. When I received the keys and came inside the room I just runs away!! We didn’t spend two minutes in that disgusting place!! I loose $70.00 but,was better run away from there. The worst flirty place ever.

The room reeked of pine-sol there was no coffee pot, the area was sketchy

When I got there to check in the person working, had given my room away the room that I ended up getting had holes in the wall the bathroom was covered in black mold. The sheets were absolutely disgusting other people’s hair all over the sheets and tangled in the towels.
