Shady digs. No coffee pot. Slamming doors. Squeeky bed

I knew it was a budget hotel going in, so I wasn't expecting much. It was a large room though, TV reception wasn't great, overall a run down place, but I didn't think it would be anything else. Just needed a place to sleep for the night and it fit that requirement.

They have such a good staff. Love that place. The rooms are clean nd well organized

The whole floor slanted to one corner, lighting to low and very drab in color. Furnishings old whole room seemed dark and drab. One bed sheets did not look clean child drawings with pen on sheet and hair.

The motel is not too bad unless of course you need to get some sleep! The room 2 doors down from mine was being remodeled, & at 10pm I heard hammering coming from some where! I went outside to investigate, & I asked the worker to please knock off the hammering, but that only lasted for a few minutes, & the oise resumed. I placed a call to the front office shortly after, & again the hammering stopped for a brief period. I then placed a 2nd call to the office, and told them that if the hammering & construction noise didn't cease that I would call the local police. I heard the manager come out & talk with the worker. Finally around 11pm the construction noise finally ceased!

We have stayed at the Mountain View Inn previously. The owners are very easy to work with. The location is conviently located near I-5, shopping and food. Parking is easy and secure being inside the courtyard. If you are looking for an easy and quiet place to spend the night or a few days, you definitely want to look here for a good option.

Great place and very friendly people. Very cheap but had really good quality rooms. Peaceful stay and owner even offered free late check out if needed. Definately worth the money and it is right off I5. At the time of checkout, owner offered for free soda and water needed for our trip.

filithy, filithy, filithy.... dirty not cleaned in days, if ever, roach trap had roach in it!. sink drain had leak! shower curtain not cleaned, felt slimy! floors dirty not swept or cleaned. this room is one step obove camping!

We had a very comfortable stay. Room 21 was very clean. It had two queen beds. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Overall the hotel was clean and the service was very good. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. We came with the family and enjoyed the stay. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Overall there was a good vibe!

I have never checked in to a room and left the same day, but there's a first time for everything. I paid 50 dollars a night for this room, so I obviously wasn't expecting much. I have stayed in cheap hotel rooms before, and can deal with a moldy shower or sticky carpet. However, this hotel had serious issues I couldn't over look. Upon walking in to the room, I was hit with the smell of cigarette smoke. The room reeked, even though the sign on the door said "no-smoking room". It wasn't just a trace odor, it hung in the air and I can actually still smell it on me. The AC unit in the room was not working, and the desk clerk mentioned this at check in, but I didn't think any thing of it until I pulled up to my room and saw a huge piece of plywood covering the window. The owners installed a window unit in this room (ground floor), and placed ply wood above it. They did not secure the ply wood in any way, so anyone walking by could rip the AC unit or piece of ply wood out of the window and crawl right in to my room. The majority of the occupants of this motel are long term, and not to be rude, but they all look sketchy. Having a huge hole in the room is a serious safety issue, and I didn't feel like fighting with the owners to get a refund. I just left and found a safe, smoke free room in Ashland.
