The hotel itself was fair. We have stayed previously. However, we are a family of 5 (youngest is 4) and we had to pay for two rooms. It was stated when booking “two rooms for £45 per night” I took this to mean for the two together not per room per night so this doubled our expense. I did inquire if we needed the second room as my youngest would sleep in with us and there was a trundle bed in the one room that we could use for my other two children. We were told no. We didn’t use the second room at all, only to get some more milk and coffee as ours were not topped up. Other than that it was pretty surplus meaning we paid over £200 for a room we didn’t use. Not very impressed as with 3 children and a weekend away it is already expensive without needing to pay for another room that we simply did not need

"Decent place for a stop over"

Clean hotel and rooms. Brilliant staff very welcoming and friendly especially Jude on reception who always has smile on her face and it’s genuinely pleased to see you when you arrive. She also makes a great pizza for when you’re hungry. Would happily stay here again

Jude, the receptionist very professional,multi skilled and welcoming. Room spacious and clean, and a bath! what a treat. A bar with optics and a small restaurant very enjoyable. Will certainly revisit when traveling this way,thank you.

"Needs a little tlc"

To much motorway noise from the windows Needs a little investment all so no free parking for disabled drivers. Think the staff are doing the best but still not up to the normal standard of others. Hope this helps other making a choice to stay xx
