Pools are to die for, bartender is the best around, beds are nice and comfortable

Had grape stems left on bathroom counter, white powdered chemical was spilled by side entrance Friday night and not cleaned up until midday Saturday leading to mess and inconvenience.

"Roach Filled Hotel and Don't Expect a Refund If You Learn the Hard Way"

This hotel is FILLED WITH ROACHES. This isnt just a run down hotel. I can deal with old and thats what I expected. But this hotel is UNSAFE and dirty. I checked in at midnight after flying into Lax and driving 2.5 hours. All I wanted to do was have a nice few days at the hot springs. Im an avid traveller and I read reviews - I have NEVER had this issue, not even once in 20 years. This hotel literally ruined my trip. Upon check in I got upgraded to a suite - great right?! When I walked in and turned on the light I saw DOZENS if roaches scatter. Some didnt even hide.... Went to the front desk and got another room in another building ONLY because it was 1am and Id never been to the desert I didn't know the area and didnt want to be stranded. Thought that room was OK until I went to plug my phone in and saw more roaches right behind the bed. I went to the front desk to check out and the man, who was extremely kind and felt very bad, went to check the room and he not only saw the roaches too but took a picture for management. I checked out and since it was almost 2am by then - he promised me I would be refunded and gave me the direct contact info for the hotel manager. I was stranded in the desert by myself at 2am because of this hotel. And now its been over a month and the hotel continues to ghost me and Priceline and will not simply approve the refund that I deserve. This place is DISGUSTING. Do not book. Do not go. Find somewhere else.
