Austria Hof Lodge

I like that it was close to the mountain, the jacuzzi, and the bed was pretty comfy.

I didn’t like that the place was poorly managed. That the shower didn’t drain, we didn’t have any body wash. And the kitchen was not properly functioning. I didn’t like that I was overcharged and spent so much of my time on the phone and in the office discussing and fixing the arriving issues with the property.

The condo is well equipped and very nice. Hot tub and sauna nearby.

When booking with Booking.com, the app said we were within 100ft of the chairlift, which is why I booked that location. The app was very misleading as to where the condo actually was. Had I known it was not in the location the app specified, I would not have booked that location. This needs to be amended so guests know ahead of time where they will be. Snow and driving is a huge consideration when booking.

View from the hot tub is the best. Walk to Canyon Lodge is super convenient. Dinner is always delicious.

This is for the condo across the street from Austria Hof that they own as part of Austria Hof. Obviously fantastic location. Condo in bldg C so have to walk thru the whole lot (2 bldgs worth) but still hard to get closer to Canton Lodge. Condo itself was clean and quite nice. Grab and go breakfast across the street included. They let us keep our car there til we left at 2pm on Sunday.

Nothing really. Everything in Mammoth is expensive now it seems. Seems like a decent price compared to what was out there. We only reserved a week ahead.

Location right at the base of the slopes was most important plus. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was terrific!

The place is really showing wear. From dirty carpets to a coffee pot with a frayed cord and broken buttons on the hot tub, there are issues of wear and tear that need to be addressed.

Property is 2 miles away from Austria Hof Lodge which was not revealed in booking docs or the listing. Very deceptive! I needed to stay where Austria Hof Lodge is located so very disappointed to learn actual location was far away.

Loved the provided breakfast, the fireplace in the room, the jacuzzi upstairs, and the location to Canyon Lodge. The restaurant was also a huge plus, great food!
