Austria Hof Lodge

This is the best location right next to canyon lodge. Free grab n go breakfast was a nice touch. Staff as very helpful. Restaurant happy hour and food rocks!

Rooms are small and dated but get the job done. It’s not fancy but it’s perfect for the value

Room could use some little touch ups like paint on some wall spots. The front porch lights stayed on at night until about 4 am, shining into the room. If the lights went off earlier or there were blackout shades, I would have slept a little better. Hot tub had strange film in it and could have used a little better cleaning, but the hot tub views were divine!

My fiance and I had a wonderful time at the Austria Hof. It exceeded our expectations. We loved the outdoor hot tub with the view of the mountain. We skied 4 days in a row and easily walked over to the lifts every day. The proximity alone is worth it, especially considering all the other accommodations in walking distance are double if not more. Yes, it’s an older property and the poor carpet gets trampled daily by ski boots, but the lodge kept up well and with love. The staff were always so nice and accommodating. We loved the grab and go breakfast- it was personally the perfect amount: yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, muffins, and fruit. The muffins (and one time banana bread) all seemed freshly baked and were a lovely start to the morning. We would absolutely stay again.

The hotel is the perfect location for who is looking to ski/snowboard. There is a small slope that ends 40m from the hotel, that's perfect! Good bathroom, almost new. I like to come back in another trip.

The worst by far in the room is the bad, a hole in the middle that sucks you, too soft also, this mattress deformity is terrible for the back. Please upgrade! One more problem was that clients and staff talk to loud in the lobby late night, we were in the first floor near by the ladder. For the curtain, please put on a blackout one.
