Best Western Erie Inn & Suites

Overall a good experience.

So helpful and accommodating due to the hawthorn screwing us over on our room that’s handicap accessible and there was no elevator

I felt like the rooms were not clean very well. The pullout couch had a tour mattress with stains on it. The garbage outside was overflowing for two days. The breakfast was not good at all. It was all frozen food warmed up in the microwave not the staff was wonderful. They just needed a better job of cleaning and keeping it clean.

The front desk girls were very nice, but other than that this place was terrible. Our room smelled like cigarettes and the toilet was nasty. The first night the smoke alarm beeped half the night needing a new battery which they did fix. The breakfast is all microwaved garbage. The second night at 3am our heat got stuck on and our room got to 80f. Thank god my husband is hvac and fixed it himself because the front desk girl had no idea what to do and said her manager wouldn’t care. My husband tried to talk to said manger in the morning who shrugged him off. I called Priceline who we booked through and they called the manger and he lied to them and said we never reported any issues. Too bad for him we have pictures that prove everything. Priceline forced a refund anyway.

Clean, roomy, and great/helpful staff.

I enjoyed my stay. I am not sure if the bathroom was cleaned prior to my stay, as there was an open and used bar of soap already in the shower. I stayed in a room on the ground floor, apparently by the elevator, so it wasn't the quietest with all the traffic going through. Ultimately, I was satisfied with my visit and would probably stay there again.

Front desk staff A+ . Very nice and professional in action and appearance . But ... Rooms didn't seem as clean as I'm use to at other hotels ...I felt like everything was halfway done ... Even the paint job felt half done. The floor in my room was dirty but the beds seemed clean The suit furniture didn't really make sense how it was set up and the bathroom door didn't lock which was really annoying. We had a suit so the bedroom had a door which was see though sooooo privacy was zero. Breakfast: one toaster and one waffle maker, so it was a long wait to use either of those things. Eggs were flavorless and hash browns hard as rocks. However they did have bagels that seemed fresh plus cereal. Over all this is a 3 because it's not the worst but could be a lot better.... Also get a pool

Very clean and affordable, close to plenty of restaurants and stores, not to familiar with the city but hotel is in a safe quiet area
