The area is lovely and the hotel itself was quiet

Unfortunately the TV was limited to satellite viewing and not able to use hdmi attachment to access freeview. Seemed to be understaffed at the bar area

Room was on the ground floor. It was exceptionally large and quiet, tastefully furnished, with a grand very comfortable bed. There was a beautiful aspect over the grounds. The bathroom was a delight with a roll top bath.

The room 102 we were given was smelling of damp. When mentioned to staff it was sprayed with air freshener which didn’t last long.

Location was fabulous

The room and facilities felt somewhat dated; the bathroom’s magnifying mirror wasn’t working, the WiFi unit was hanging off the wall, and the lotion was empty. Although I reported these issues to reception, only the lotion was addressed.
