Sheraton Bogota Hotel

Delicious and healthy buffet breakfast. Safe, clean and well located. I enjoyed the gym and Spa. The staff very friendly, kind and attentive. I didnt like my bedroom for this reason: when my neighbors opened the door it was very noisy.

The room was spacious as well as the bathroom. The furniture is a little dated in my opinion. If you want to shave you need to do so at the window because the bathroom has very little lighting. Impossible for shaving or to put makeup on. The spa area and gym are well decorated but where are the weights, hahaha… The pool is great although not very clean. The whirlpool was really filthy and the water dirty

My wife and I just spent 10 days at a conference in this amazingly well-run, immaculately clean and attractive hotel and we have nothing but good things to say about it! We have stayed at hotels all over the world and found the Sheraton Bogota to be truly outstanding on all counts. The general manager is clearly on top of things as the staff were all hard-working, warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They made us feel like family. Even though our Spanish is very limited, communication was never a problem; in fact the staff were all eager to help us learn. Our room was very quiet, the bed was super comfortable, and the rain shower was terrific. The breakfast and lunch options were delicious and varied—enough for us to look forward to eating there day after day. (The Colombian espresso is awesome!) The gym is lovely and I really enjoyed swimming laps in the pool. The hotel is well-situated in a safe and leafy-green neighborhood. We appreciated being able to walk to several excellent restaurants, parks, and a huge shopping mall. We can hardly wait to return next year!

Property needs to be refurbished

It’s a great location to get to and from the airport. The hotel is dated but it’s a Sheraton so it’s not surprising but the staff are really outstanding. It’s going to be our default place to stay in Bogota. The airport shuttle is great but a couple of things that should be clearer. You need to call the airport in advance to get on the list for the shuttle, if you do so, one of the people coordinating the hotel shuttles will have you on their list. The pick up area is departures outside of door 5. This is where the airport hotel shuttles are located. When you first come out there it’s chaos but it’s surprisingly well organized. The shuttle bus doesn’t say Sheraton. Luckily, I read another review that pointed out it said Capital Hotel. The coordinators do a great job of letting you know which bus is yours. All in all, a great experience.
