Gullwing by Distinctive Beach Rentals

Everything was prepared nicely and clean. There was some construction around the resort, but it did not interfere with our rest/stay in any way. It was only a few minutes walk from the beach, a warm pool nearby, and also a spa. In the apartment all electrical devices worked and everything necessary for normal living was provided.

We liked the location and the room. There is some noisy construction work going on in the resort and in the buildings nearby. However, we decided to stay for two weeks.

The view was amazing The beach was perfect Size of the condo as well as the interior were just right Very clean

There was a mix up with keys and communication at check in which made things complicated. This was sorted out quickly and no other issues. Ft Myers Beach is a construction zone. This is nobody fault but please make sure to investigate prior to booking. The building as well as its neighbors are all being worked on. This made for lots of noise during the daytime hours. Many restaurants were destroyed or damaged and are operating out of food trucks. The pillows in the condo were lacking in fluff

We booked this trip for my birthday. The resort is under construction. We were Not notified, even though they claimed it was on the webpage. The noise was awful, demolition drill awful at 7:30 am. And they said it will go on untill May 2025. Checking instructions were not very specific. The unit was not very clean. There was trash under beds and not cleaned dishes. The pool and beach acces were blocked the first two days of our vacation. They opened it after we complained.

Wonderful, clean, still doing work from hurricane Ian but did not affect our trip at all- can’t wait to go back!

The apartment was impeccable. Clean and with all the needed things.

The rooms are excellent and spacious. We have stayed here in the past. Understanding that they just went through a serious hurricane and the area is recovering. However, I do believe they understated how much work and noise was being generated to the buildings exterior. This noise echoed thru the walls. Workers start at 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mon thru Fri. No need for an alarm clock as their hammer drills will wake you up which is pretty much constant. The pool was open but there was quite a bit noise and debris falling into the pool from the work being done. I do believe they are trying very hard to get the renovation complete and may have jumped the gun opening prior to completion.

A very peaceful safe and comfortable place for a chill beach vacation.
