Carina Bay Boutique All inclusive Resort & Casino

Upon arrival we were promptly greeted and served a delicious beverage. The check in process was simple and effortless and we were given a quick but thorough explanation of the property. We went to our room and the room was spacious and bed was comfortable. We explored the property which was nice but quickly noticed it was in the process of being renovated. Overall the property was in good condition but there are some areas that needed some attention; the beach area needed some maintenance and the pool area could use some more speakers and some access to music. The staff is very friendly and attentive especially at the pool side bar. There is a decent amount of food and drink choices, but it is not a fully equipped bar; the bar has the basics and the bartenders make good tasting drinks. The water sports staff was helpful and we enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding.

The resort has so much potential. Nice pool, pretty beach view, hotel rooms are right on the beach. Pool bar was fun. Food and drinks are all inclusive for a minor $1900 additional mandatory fee. Had very few guests which is good and bad. Not a lot of staff but the staff was extremely friendly. Loisa was a great bartender as were the others. Waitresses were nice and food was delicious however there were a few days only half the items were available on the menu probably because of the low guest rate. Hotel was clean. There is need for upkeep especially on the outdoor grounds. Tennis courts were badly cracked and warped which made for a challenging game. Mini golf looked fun. They had some pool side activities like painting and bingo which were fun. Excited to hear the steel drums and see the fire dancers tonight! With the small volume of people here we were able to make a few friends. Everybody was nice here! We enjoyed our stay- just hope management can put a little more upkeep into the place to make it a 4 or 5 star place.

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving week at the resort. QUIET. The room was clean standard king beachside, it was ok. Highlights are the View, the Shower and the Bed. The resort was still rebuilding and many amenities were not avaialble. 2nd bar, 2nd pool, putt putt, pickleball, gym, watersports were not available yet. TV in the room only 5 channels due to new cable provider. IT tried and tried. No NFL on Thanksgiving :( Pool was Chilly. Ocean was warm. Casino was packed with locals, but no TV's. You will need a car to do anything outside the resort. The food choices for an all inclusive were limited due to lack of staff and guests. Pools ide bar and grill was great. Scott and Nati took care of everything.

Had the most amazing experience at Carina Bay resort! The staff was beyond friendly, Louisa, Cherice, Scott and Micky made thee best food and drinks excellent music and vibes! There’s plenty of fun activities to do Jamal took us golfing and Elisha helps make beautiful custom jewelry. Vashti and Kenroy makes the most delicious coffee for breakfast. The manager Emand, made sure our stay was perfect! Can’t wait to return they treat you like family! This resort is a MUST STAY!

Lousia my queen was the best bartender at the resort. She had such great energy and made my birthday trip so special and fun! The line cooks Mickey & Cherise really out did an amazing job on the food. I had mango habanero wings everyday! Mickey also gave us great recommendations on where to go outside the resort. Elisha helped us make the prettiest bracelets that we’ll cherish forever. Emand have such great hospitality and was very kind. Jamal was kind enough to drive us to the mini golf course n helped us learn how to play. Tafari was so sweet at the Touscany restaurant n made sure we were satisfied with every meal. She also gave us great wine recommendations. The moscato was my favorite! Scott aka Bill was the funniest bartender n kept us entertained everyday. When you go make sure to call him Bill😉 Vashti made the best Vanilla Iced Lattes, was super sweet & welcoming every morning. Kenroy also made good lattes n didn’t overdue the expreso which I very much appreciate <3

This place is great. The staff are so friendly! We love our bartenders! We had 2 favorite ones, Alisha and Louisa! Louisa gave us tips on where to shop, where to go visit for sightseeing, so personable and a great drink maker! Kept us informed on what was going on at the resort when she was working. Alisha was sweet and even brought my friend a birthday cupcake on her birthday! She made great drinks too! They are both a great asset to this place! We will be back!

St. Croix is a beautiful island and fun to explore! Here’s something’s you should know before going and staying here. If you’re used to staying at all inclusive resorts that are over the top excellent in Aruba, Jamaica, Curaçao, or any other Caribbean island you are going to be in shock when you arrive here. There is one restaurant that has little food options open for breakfast and dinner only. Other than that there is a pool bar that you can order food at and honestly it’s the best food in the resort. They only had entertainment one night and it was Friday. There is nothing to do near by except for a casino, no transportation provided to and from the airport. The rooms are clean and updated, the staff is wonderful. RENT A CAR! They drive on the left and it’s a fun learning experience but we had a blast out driving around. Christiansted is about a fifteen minute drive and is where we spent the majority of the time. This is the best place to find excursions, do some shopping, get something to eat. All in all the experience was great but being advertised as an all inclusive is a bit of a far stretch.

We stayed at this resort for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The room has a direct ocean view with beautiful morning sun rise. The bed and furniture are good quality and comfortable. The bathroom is very clean and spacious. The food served is excellent so no need to go out and finding restaurants while you are on the island. We find it very convenient.
