"Patricia Grand"

The stay was ok. We brought our small dog and I saw nothing about the fee when booking the room. Also, the info about dogs is that only dogs weighing 20lbs or less were allowed. However, we saw atleast 6 dogs who were very large. Also, no bags for dog waste so there was dog manure all in the grass and some even on the sidewalk.

"No Daily cleaning "

We had a plumbing problem. We called the front desk and was informed that there is no maintenance available until 9am. Maintenance did come and fix the toilet. I asked front desk when housekeeping would arrive and was told that there is no daily cleaning. The room will not be cleaned until we check out. I stated but the bathroom needs cleaned because the toilet was clogged and the bathroom smells. The front desk staff stated that there's no cleaning until we check out. I stated can I get cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom he stated that they do not supply cleaning supplies but I can come down and get clean towels, trash bags, paper towels and toilet tissue.

"The Worst"

Where do I start. We booked this place through booking.com. The pictures they have on there are not what all rooms look like, we found that out after we checked in. When we opened the door, it was obvious. We went to turn the lights on and both light bulbs just flickered, I don’t know if they were old or what but we eventually just turned them off. I honestly don’t know if the room was even cleaned, it was just awful. The vent in the bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in a long time, same for the air conditioner, they were both bad. In the bathroom, the corners of the floor were awful, around and behind the toilet were awful. The toilet was loose and wobbled. We communicated with Vacasa through text messages, which I still have, and told them what was going on. Of course they give their BS responses and pretend they care. They don’t. After talking with them the first night, around 9:45 pm we get a call saying do we want maintenance to come up. Well, after driving 9 hours, we weren’t dealing with maintenance so I told them it could wait until the next day. They never showed up and Vacasa never called back to see if anything had been resolved. The next night, the shower nozzle fell off. The only way you could use it was to hold it on so you could adjust your water temperature. I again sent them a text about it and they asked if we wanted it fixed and we told them yes, they said they would sent somebody. Again, no one ever came and Vacasa never checked back in to see if the situation had been resolved. I didn’t realize they were pet friendly but it seemed like it was an animal park with all the dogs there. The pool was just as nasty. In three days, no one cleaned the pool, the day we left, someone actually cleaned it. The worst part of this whole ordeal was Vacasa didn’t offer to make anything right, they would just respond, “thanks for the input”. Their no smoking policy is a joke also, the whole place reeked of pot. Vacasa is a joke, they could care less about what rooms they put guests in. As long as they get their money, that’s all they care about. I will NEVER stay at The Patricia Grand or ANYWHERE I see the Vacasa logo. I will post this review and pictures everywhere I can so hopefully it will prevent anyone from booking with this pathetic company. You want to make things better? Listen to your guests. When they tell you problems with your property, fix it or make it right somehow.

Room and bathroom was clean. Smells good. Disappointed that restaurant/bar was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Had to go to the hotel nextdoor to get a mixed drink.

It’s needs a really bad upgrade, the curtains have mold and the I feel smell like mold and it stick. My family and I always stay here when we come to Myrtle bc of all the pools, but if I ever go back I will not be staying here.

"Our stay at Patricia Grand Resort"

Our Experience at Patricia Grand This is how our room was: black mold in the closet and in every corner of the room, poorly painted over. We asked the staff to either change our room or properly remediate the mold. Instead, they just bleached the closet and painted over it again. We had to stay out of the room during this process. When we returned, the room smelled so bad that we couldn’t stay inside—we ended up waiting outside. They did not offer us another room. The beds were dirty, and the corners of the bed frames had ripped fabric and holes—absolutely disgusting. As for the kitchen: the refrigerator was broken, with loose metal pieces inside that could easily cause injury. The electric range was so filthy we didn’t even dare to use it. I would never stay at this hotel again. The only reason we did this time was because we had a dog with us and there were no other pet-friendly options available in the area. We asked for a discount and their answer was we are sorry.

"Good place to stay. "

The room was okay nothing spectacular. The room felt damp the whole time. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were not the best. They were knotty which made them feel a little rough on the skin. The view was fabulous!!! The pool areas were nice lots to choose from. But the small pool and hot tubs had ALOT of sand in them. Which I do understand but still looks nasty. The restaurant on the 2nd floor. OMG it was one of those one and done type places. To expensive for the amount of food you get. The place was sold out and it is a dog friendly hotel but it was quiet and everyone was so nice. The front desk ladies were so nice and helpful. I would stay agin.
