the pools and access to the beach were wonderful. We also enjoyed playing tennis as well as the scheduled activities- which we didn’t end up taking part in.

The pull out couch was not super comfy and the kitchen didn’t seem to be stocked too great.

We arrived at the Aston Kaanapali Shores Hotel earlier in the afternoon and did not expect our room to be ready. But, it was ready! Not only that, but we were upgraded to a studio on the 8th floor with an incredible ocean view. Our hostess at the front desk gave us discounts for the restaurant and chocolate covered macadamia nuts. We were treated like royalty. After traveling for 6 hours by plane with a screaming 1 year old baby directly behind us, this experience at the hotel was like a breath of fresh island air. We had arrived in paradise! We will definitely be back.
