Great location, amazing views, efficient staff.

Dated room, but clean and comfortable

I have been to Hawaii many times and have stayed at a variety of hotels. This one was very reasonably priced, yet it turned out to be the best stay I've had so far. It may have been the combination of the high floor and the excellent location, but everything about my stay was comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was excellent for Waikiki and center of Honolulu

BEWARE THIS IS NOT THE PACIFIC MONARCH HOTEL This is an individually owned apartment within the hotel building - it is NOT a serviced room, although you have access to the facilities, the hotel staff don't want to know you exist. Whomever is responsible for cleaning the room does a slap-dash job, and there are no cleaning products available in the room to clean for yourself - not ideal for long stays when the room is not serviced. There was mould in the bathroom sink, sticky cutlery, and only one spare roll of toilet paper. There was no plug for the kitchen sink, so to avoid doing dishes we bought disposable cutlery and plates at our own expense. The property owner will advise that insects are part of the tropical environment - they are also very well camouflaged in the kitchen bench top and wall design until you see something move! It was also annoying to us that for a non-smoking building we were confronted by pot smoke in the hallway multiple times coming from the opposite room WIFI was spotty and kept dropping out, cable TV had no remote and was also glitchy NOT WORTH IT even at a cheap price! My husband and I chose the Pacific Monarch Hotel, and I made the mistake when I returned to search and book it, I only typed in Pacific Monarch and arrived at this entry by accident - BUYER BEWARE - this listing is very deceptive

Great location a couple blocks from the beach. The hotel is somewhat old, but our suite was spacious and met our needs for a brief stay, and was good value for the area. You can redeem a beach towel per hotel guest from the front desk, which was helpful. Bonus: just outside the lobby is Coffee Window Waikiki, and Musubi Cafe IYASUME is right next door for a wide selection of spam musubi. And many other eateries within a short walk.

The adjoining parking garage is managed by a parking company, not the hotel, and you pay for parking via a ticket machine. There was some kind of system network outage causing the ticket machine (and the hotel ATM machine) to reject our credit cards and we couldn't pay for our parking space when we first got there. We left to go to dinner and get some cash, and luckily when we returned the machine was working. The hotel should really take over the parking payment to streamline this process for guests, instead of requiring guests to go through the third party.

The location is excellent, and the hotel staff are very friendly.

Dichtbij het strand , eetgelegenheden, centrum op de kamer hoorde je wel wat geluid van buiten maar was voor ons prima . Koelkast werkt goed !
