Ideal location, close to the beach and many restaurants. For the value, I'd stay here again!

We had a pleasant stay. Excellent location with many food options nearby. Just a couple of blocks from the beach and shopping. Our family rented two rooms. Both rooms were clean and well insulated. Staff was friendly and helpful. This was our second time staying at this hotel. We'll be back in a year or two. Hopefully, the carpeting in the room will be replaced in the near future.

Excellent and walkable location: near the beach, stores and food trucks. It's very nice that the room has a kitchenette and a table. It's good that the cleaning service is only every 3 days. That's adequate and efficient. We also liked the lounge on the top floor, very comfortable to relax and to enjoy the views.

The air conditioning is very noisy and not as efficient so it's hard to sleep at night. It doesn't get cold enough to turn it down. The furniture is a little outdated. It would be nicer to have a king bed. Also, the elevator is so slow. One is out of commission so we usually have to wait longer.

I liked having on call service needs responded to in an ALOHA way. Very good.

The owner of this property has magnificent ocean views but has not updated the outside tinting so the windows are streaked and the drapes have holes and are in need of repair. Fix the balcony furniture outside as is very rusted or the windows inside to insure a comfortable ocean view.

Location

We stayed at this hotel with our family and had two rooms: 1801 and 1507. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The rooms are very old and poorly maintained. The beds were terrible — everything squeaked so badly that it was almost impossible to sleep. The air conditioner was blowing dust, and I immediately started having allergy symptoms. During the night, something bit me while I was in bed, and I still have a swollen bump on my thigh. Another major issue was the elevators. It often took 15–20 minutes just to get downstairs, which is completely unacceptable. I have stayed in older hotels before, but many of them were much better maintained and more comfortable than this one. This hotel was simply a disaster. I would not recommend staying here.
