Great location, walking distance to shops and very close to beach. Room had everything you would need for a stay, basic and a little on the older side but very enjoyable place.

Many reviews have already mentioned the lift access really brings down our experience. Only one working lift for the whole hotel which is very slow and always full of people. We almost missed our Uber because it took more than 15 mins for us to be able to get an empty enough lift for us and our bags on check out.

Beyond having only 2 working elevators, Pacific Monarch was a really nice place with great access to Waikiki shops, food, and beach. Great views from the ocean view rooms. Nice roof top. Not big at all but nice and quaint. Overall a good place to stay in Waikiki.

Self contained unit very handy

Sadly there there is food van restuarant next door and they have noisy generator which runs Noon till late , nothing the hotel can do about I guess . I would still stay but you have to keep the windows closed

Can't beat this hotel's location: 1 block from Kuhio (Waikiki) Beach, right in the center of restaurants, shopping, concerts, etc. Definitely the best price-performer for rooms with separate bedroom, kitchen, pool and central location. We stayed for a week, and both of us were able to work comfortably from our 1 bedroom suite. Our room was on the older side, not fancy, but it had everything we needed for a happy, comfortable stay. And the hotel staff were incredibly helpful when we needed towels, beach chairs, help with parking, extra hangers, etc. We especially enjoyed looking out at the ocean from our room's dining table and lanai while working.
