Hilton Vacation Club Royal Palm St Maarten

This review is based on customer support for a canceled flight situation on January 3rd, due to closed air space issued by the US federal government. We were due to arrive Jan 3rd, 2026 for a stay until Jan 10th. Due to closed airspace on Jan 3rd, we were issued a flight with a connection that would arrive on the island on Jan 7th. Due to limited vacation time and zero flexibility in our travel days, we opted to not make the trip. I called the Hilton Owner Services on Saturday and Sunday with no assistance since owner services is not available on weekends. Monday, no additional customer service was provided. Their response was too bad, so sad. I did not request a refund. I requested credit for the nights or even partial credit, but they did not give us any refund, credit, or partial credit. This left a sour taste in my mouth for considering a future stay.

Love the location, food and staff but couldn't sleep because of the music from Nowhere Special blasting continuously until early morning every night!!!!!

My wife and I are enjoying this lovely resort in active Simpson Bay, within minutes of both Philipsburg (Dutchside capital) and Marigot (Frenchside capital). We appreciated Jessica’s assistance in honoring our room request so we immediately felt at home as soon as we checked in. Most of the rooms are 2 bedroom suites and are fully equipped with everything one needs. We spend a lot of our time exploring and enjoying the island, and this resort is a perfect base from which to do so. Many thanks to Jessica and her team for being so welcoming and helpful! Since the Hilton took over things are not as hospitable as far as the space on the beach (added many more umbrellas packing in too many, too close together). Happy hour is expensive. There are other bars close by more than 50% cheaper. The other bars/restaurants play insanely loud dj and live band music. Your windows will vibrate and you won’t have a quiet sleep. We need to find somewhere else for the future.
