Nice hotel and friendly staff. Great location and beautiful scenery.

My husband and I decided to do a "last minute" mountain get away. Bluegreen Mountain Loft was offering a special for the weekend. The rooms online looked very nice and updated, nestled on a mountainside. After paying for the accommodation and driving 4 hours to get to the lodge, we get a call from hotels.com that the lodge did not have our reservation (we were 15 minutes from pulling up), and could not accommodate us. Hotels.com wanted to put us in a "comparable room" at Red Roof Inn for the inconvenience. When I said we did not want to stay there, the very friendly and helpful girl at hotels.com worked her magic and got us back in the Bluegreen Mountain Loft…but in a "different suite." We were very thankful for her and she did send us a $100 voucher for the last minute scare and inconvenience. The "new" room, however, was NOT AT ALL like the pictures on the internet. I would not have chosen this suite AT ALL. It was VERY dated and the bathroom met us with a urine smell. The smelly couch was awful. We covered it with beach towels. The bed was comfortable, however, with nice "new" linens. The suite did have a pleasing view of a hillside.The grounds and overall facility seemed very well-maintained. The guarded entrance was very pretty. The personnel were very friendly and helpful there as well.The unit just did not line up with the rest of the property. I am really trying to be fair for the next people. I think we would go back, if we had a better option of picking our unit.

Turned out to be a "townhouse" instead of hotel. That kind of money for my teens to sleep on a pull out uncomfortable sofa. Indoor pool was having repairs which was one of my prerequisites n a llace to stay.

We stayed overnight in a one bedroom suite. The view was not as promised but our accommodations were great. The full kitchen and nice living room were a bonus to the spacious king room and bath. I think we were in an updated section as some of the other buildings looked like they needed attention.

The location was awesome and picturesque views. When we checked in, they sent us to a room that needed maintenance, so we had to carry and pack up our stuff back into the car. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything and they could hear us too. This was supposed to be a romantic weekend, I would call it more of a comedic relief.

We stayed only for a night. The quality of service is really good. It would have been great if they could include complementary breakfast for that price.

The beds are 2 feet from the walkway in front of the rooms. You can hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the bedrooms! And there are kids walking up and down that walkway all of the time! The sofa was disgustingly nasty and had a rip in the upholstery. We got the extra blanket to lay over the sofa so we wouldn't have to sit in the nastiness and the blanket had cigarrette burns all over it. It was disgusting.

I absolutely loved this room with the exception of the view. My room location did not have a great view at all which is what I was looking for in the smoky Mountains and why I came in the 1st place. Everything else was excellent though.
