WiFi is not so good.

Stayed for a week for work. The front desk staff were nice and the free breakfast was decent. But the room was dark with a stained and dirty carpet. The housekeeping left much to be desired - did not clean the bathroom sink basin most days, left dirty dishes in the sink, I got out new roll of TP and placed it on top of the dial but HK did not bother to put it on the dial when they cleaned….Disappointing. I have stayed at the same property in Arlington and really liked it. Think I will switch back to that one next time.

One of the most disappointing hotel stays in recent memory. Arriving in the evening after a cross-country flight, my family and i noticed some insect activity in the kitchenette area. I immediately notified the front desk the following morning, asking for a room change. I was told a room change was not possible as the hotel was fully booked, but that they would send someone from housekeeping to address the issue that day. I couldn’t tell you if anyone from housekeeping actually did come, but by night time, there were cockroaches all over our two bedroom suite- in my child’s lunch box, in the bed, on the walls (see pics). Given the volume of bugs, it is simply implausible that hotel management did not already know about this issue. We checked out after night two and moved to a different property. At no point did either the hotel general manager or Marriott corporate reach out to apologize or compensate us for our awful experience. This is not how you treat a platinum elite member. I will think long and hard before considering using Marriott again.

My wife and I stayed here for about 12 nights while in the area. I rate our stay as pleasing because of the location, relative value for money vs other options in the area, but mostly because of the exceptionally helpful and nice staff. It felt like all of the front desk and particularly the restaurant/breakfast kitchen staff truly enjoyed their jobs and working together in a team. Kitchen staff brought out freshly made biscuits or muffins and went around offering them to you at your table. Really nice touch. The room was a bit worn but everything was functional. The service was good with supplies and towels being replenished as needed even though sometimes we had to call for them to come. However, it was obvious that they are not doing a deep clean of the rooms, hardly ever. The carpet felt sticky with years of grime, it was that bad. Overall, I recommend this Residence Inn. The staff are really exceptional and if you appreciate getting friendly assistance then this would be a good stay for you.

This was the second Residence Inn we stayed in during our trip to DC and it was excellent, just like the first one was. It’s conveniently located and very clean. The folks at the front desk are very helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Our room was spacious but the AC was very loud. We had them come and look at it, but it continued to be loud. Regardless, we had a great stay and enjoyed the beautiful walk to Georgetown for dinner.

when first checking in we got a room that I did not pay for after a hour was finally put in the correct room, the room was paid in full before we arrived and I was still over charged for parking(supposed to be $50 I was charged $100), was charged several different times different prices from$218-$440 which messed my card up for the rest of my trip. after calling twice and telling me they would call me back I have still not received a call back. wont be staying here when I’m back in town…

Upon arrival and check in to this property we were greeted by a very friendly front desk staff as well as food staff. We were able to check in as our room was ready. Some of the keys did not work but was corrected as well. The mobile key code was never sent even though I stopped by front desk a few times. Upon entering our room I turned the thermostat from 77.6 to 67.5. We then left and went out for the day. We returned to the hotel late about 10:30pm and the room was once again 77.6. I called the front desk and was first told maintenance was gone for the evening but then one arrived but did not have the password to fix the ac system. I was informed that the property has it set so that the ac does not run continuously. They checked another room and found the same issue but assured me that it would be addressed in the am. I informed the front desk clerk that I was not paying for that night since the ac was not working properly. The next day maintenance came and fixed the issue. When I received my bill the charge was still on there and was told that once again they did not have staff that could take care of on the weekend but it would be addressed on Monday. Monday - Thursday no response from anyone from property. On Friday I follow up with an email and at that time am told I would only get a small credit. This property had no intention of correcting this for me. Once I received the mail I called the property for over an hour without getting a live person. AC control should be at the descresion of the hotel guest not the property attempting to save an additional amount on a room that was over $650/night. Never again.

I stayed here for 4 nights with a large group. The staff was amazing and so friendly. Clean property with spacious rooms. The location is convenient for public transportation and also within walking distance of great restaurants. Would definitely stay again if I find myself in DC!

Excellent location. Quiet area with amazing restaurants. Caught the Sunday farmers market nearby and it was fab. Staff is excellent and super friendly. Great service. Hotel a little worn but still clean and comfortable. That’s why I gave 4 otherwise service and friendliness gets 5 stars
