The bed was so uncomfortable. You could see the dents on both sides of bed where other people stayed. The 20 dollars per day to park.

General facilities very limited the restaurant was a tiny pokey cafe area with high stall chairs at bistro tables, no proper relaxation area. Really not the standard expected of a Hotel, Rediculous timings: room Check in 4.00pm and check out 10am. No mini bar, instructions in the room requested to remove own rubbish and strip the bed at end of stay! Despite being in a rural area with masses of parking the parking was charged, which is just another profit maker for the Marriott chain.

My wife and I have been MVC owners since 2004. Our trips have mostly been to the western U.S. and Hawaii. This was our first trip to the Manor Club at Ford's Colony. We stayed in Villa 1612 (2 bedrooms) in the Jefferson Building; it had a view of the golf course and was furnished beautifully. The room was clean and everything functioned as expected. The Jefferson Building was extremely quiet, and this resulted in some really refreshing sleep. The entire Manor Club property is well cared for, and it shows. The main outdoor pool was clean and the spa was perfect. There was live entertainment one evening in Bistro 1699 and that was an unexpected treat. We attended numerous character reenactments in the Manor Club Theater, and they were highlights of our trip. We hope the Manor Club continues the reenactments as they were very entertaining and informative. Every Marriott employee we encountered was friendly and courteous. There are many family friendly worthwhile activities in the Williamsburg area, and we could not get to everything. We love this location but this stay we had a few problems and only one was compensated for the one hour late check in we received 25$ voucher for the restaurant on site which we used to offset the over priced $25 per night parking fee, which is entirely ridiculous. I asked for a late check out upon my arrival which was about an hour before normal check in which I got way before we encountered any problems then the manager tried to use that as compensation for all the other problems we encountered way after the fact. Anyway hope you don’t encounter any problems cause if you do good luck getting any help from the manager. I am calling the corporate office to get proper compensation for the issues.

Hidden cost (PARKING!!!). Come on the taxes I understand, but parking 29$ a day. REALLY!!
