The Maverick Resort

It was newly renovated. Very spacious and clean. The view in room 316 was amazing. Great customer service. Even the lady carrying the vase of dead flowers spoke and welcomed us. The guy at the front desk was very accurate and thorough.

The rooms were very clean, right in front of the ocean. Will definitely recommend.

Please be extremely careful when making reservations for this resort. The condominiums are individually owned and oftentimes the owners over booked the condos. I arrived at the resort for a two night stay and upon check in I was told that the resort was completely booked and there was no vacancy despite the fact I had a reservation that I called to confirm that said day prior to arrival. My family was with me. I was so devastated especially because it was 10pm at night and everywhere was basically fully booked. I immediately call Hotel.com and whatever they discussed, the front desk agent along with management was able to find accommodation for the two nights. Thanks for my third party booking, otherwise I would have to check in for that night because the front desk agent reluctantly found accommodation for one night after I complained, but I would have to check out the next morning and find somewhere else. I will never stay here again. Plus the from desk staff was not very helpful.

I booked our stay 2 weeks in advance and sent several messages with no responces...being very worried as I have never had that happen using VRBO. I called the actual resort prior to departing for our 2000 miles trip...was reassured everything was good. When I was handed my paperwork after checking in it listed only 1 night as we were booked for 4...the front desk said oh yes you will have to move to a different room tomorrow...seriously? when were we going to be notified of that? I have an email confirmation for 4 nights...she insisted this was normal as it is a time share property...other than that our stay was good

Busy weekend Rebecca check in staff was awesome. Kept a smile and was friendly as others checking in were not .

What a wonderful find. We loved this hotel. Our room was amazing, the view was great the staff was friendly and unlike most beach hotels, parking was a breeze. This was for a girls weekend and we decided to make our stay here an annual thing. Even being under a remodel construction did not effect the fun of our stay.
