"Great stay in central Scottsdale location"

We were overall really happy with our stay. Our room had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, lounge etc. The space is extremely convenient for families. The location is great. Easy walking distance to Scottsdale old town. Free parking. The room was great value for money

Breakfast choice was bad. We tried it on our first day and was disappointed. No bacon, sausages, muffins etc. There was hardly any choice. I recall the options were very very poor.

"I will stay at the hotel again."

The location, the staff and the complimentary breakfast was excellent!

The return unit in my room was very loud, every time the air started blowing it sounded as if I was in a wind tunnel. The sound wasn’t constant and it didn’t disturb my sleep(it was just noticeable) But there were no other complaints.

"Unacceptable Stay: Jammed Door, No Compensation"

I had an extremely disappointing experience during my stay. At one point, I was locked inside my hotel room because the door was jammed. I immediately called the front desk, and while the staff member was kind and tried his best to help, he was unable to open the door. He then called a maintenance person, who did not arrive for 40 minutes—by this time, it was already after 10:00 PM. Ultimately, I was only able to get out because a coworker and I managed to force the door open ourselves. The front desk associate was apologetic and even mentioned that I should receive compensation in the form of reward points or a discount, but that never happened. Additionally, other front desk staff I interacted with during my stay were not warm or customer-friendly. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

"Bad. Poor room condition. Smelly and musty odor in the room."

As a Hyatt Discoverist and WoH points owner, I was very taken back by the poor condition of the room. If we had not gotten in so late, I would have just changed my reservation to Chandler or somewhere back toward Phoenix. There seems to be a lot of maintenance issues, and the room was stinky and smelly to the point of mustiness and possible mold. If you are checking in just to lay your head down for a nighttime nap, it’s fine. But, I will not be going back to this Hyatt.
