They had activities scheduled daily. And the main pool area was nice. Until someone decided to have their own personal photo shoot and demanded my kids move out of the way. So that that could get good shots.

Our room was hot. Even after maintenance came to “fix” the air conditioner. On our second day there we were locked out of our room for three hours. I was repeatedly told that maintenance was on the way. And they never showed up. After finally going back to the front desk, I spoke to a supervisor who had no idea what was going on. And he was able to get a maintenance guy to go over to the building. We were staying in to get us back inside our room. And that supervisor also admitted that he saw where the maintenance guy was supposed to show up originally hours ago, but decided not to. Because of this my daughters missed their performance. And we are out of $1800 and all I got was I’m sorry. And maybe upper management will approve a full refund. We also had a venomous spider in our room. My husband had to kill it before it could bite one of us. The way that situation was handled was completely unacceptable.

The villa was spacy and the property was quiet.

Bed was not comfortable, front desk was not responsive, pullout was very uncomfortable, no sheets were available for the pull-out bed, we didn't get sheets until the next day, no towels were brought as requested. The apartment was dated and the view was the worst. The furniture on the balcony was cheap and uncomfortable as well. The room also smelled like smoke when we arrived. Lastly the guy at the front desk was not very warm and welcoming at all. Not rude but not pleasant.

Location

The Sandpiper 1 building is very outdated but clean. Rugs were stained and it could use updated furniture. It’s also a car ride to the main Racquet Ball Road location which we didn’t expect. We had black birds swoop down and steal food out of our hands… that’s a problem and something should be done about the birds. The bed was comfy and kitchen was nicely equipped.
