Comfort Suites Dulles Airport

There was mold in our room and construction happening the entire stay. Room smelled awful.

We stayed for 7 days in December 2025. The advertised pool that we were told was open by phone when we made the reservations was closed and so was the Gym for renovations. A total surprise. The rooms first smelled like fresh paint so strongly that we requested to be relocated due to both having Migraine headaches. The next pair had one room with a bad lock, both had flickering lights, peeling wallpaper stuck on with rusty staples and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. We had to ask for a plug for the bathtub and a bathmat. The the worst thing was BLACK MOLD in both rooms. Not worth what we paid. Gross. STAY AWAY. And they are renovating right where the guest rooms are. Told the manager they should do this one floor at a time rather than having active construction sites near the guests. He responded "That's above my pay grade"

Very clean and pleasant staff

Problem with the hot water. In the morning and in the evening the water was warm at best. It seemed like the hotel did not have big enough hot water heaters. I had to wait until the middle of the day and late in the evening on Friday and Saturday to get a hot shower

Great Breakfast.

Everything was perfect. Just the way I would love it to be.
