A more contemporary feel to this one compared to the more "Key West-like" hotels nearer to the Old Town. Not a bad thing - the room was large as was the bathroom, and the poolside area was fantastic, with good food, good drinks selection, served to your lounger. Pool itself is a good size, parking is free (and in the shade!). Overall a good pick

This hotel is literally as you drive onto Key West, so if you're spending most of your time on Duval Street or Mallory Square, then it's a 15 minute uber drive. This is more than mitigated, though, by the fact you tend to get better facilities, and you don't pay as much here as you do at the smaller hotels right in the thick of it.

The property is on the water and is beautiful. The rooms are nice and the bed is super comfortable. The staff was extremely nice and always willing to help. The food was tasty and the drinks were great. The room was a true value for the price and we received an ice bag and free water bottles. We saw chickens and roosters and a nurse shark, a reef stark and other fish in the beach area. In addition there is a free shuttle to take you downtown. I highly recommend Beachside residences and resort, we truly enjoyed our stay.

The cleaning staff was very loud and slamming doors.

We loved pretty much everything else about this property. We just wish there were more shuttle buses.

The room air conditioner fan/blower was extremely loud which kept us up every night and made the room either way to cold or not cool enough. There wasn’t a happy medium with the room thermostat. The only other issue was that the room doors were extremely heavy and when it became windy outside the door may as well have been a guillotine.

It was conveniently located and clean rooms.

It was priced too high for the actual hotel, it had a small man made looking beach, pool area not clean, and had to pay for parking.

It was spacious and clean. Pool area was clean. I was happy they let me check in early.

Parking too expensive. No other parking around the area so you don’t have a choice but to use theirs. No microwave in the room but not a big issue. People cleaning the next room to ours are too loud. The doors are like the fire doors so when they get out of the room they just bang it.
