The Gordon House Hotel

Stayed their for my visa interview. Hotel Room is very spacious, clean and having very good facilities. Only problem I noticed is in bath room shower the hot and cold water was not flowing continuously and stopped intermittently sometimes. Breakfast was decent and I liked it. Staff is also good.

The hotel and staff were great but when we got back to our room the floor was vibrating from the noise of the nightclub on the first floor immediately below. I have never heard such noise in a hotel room. To be fair it was the night before NYE and a Saturday but still shocking! It may have been better if we were on the 3rd floor or higher. The staff were nice but couldn't do anything about it. They had a large stash of ear plugs at reception. Unfortunately I would not recommend this otherwise lovely hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the Gordon House over the Christmas Holiday. It's location is perfect and it is an amazing value. We will stay at the Gordon House for our next trip to Mumbai. 2 blocks from Gateway to India, 2 blocks from art galleries.

It was fantastic. Apart from the rate being bit in the pricy side, Gordon House is a superb hotel. Very helpful staff.

Not recommended to stay on a Friday or Saturday night as this place wants to be a hotel AND a nightclub. No chance of any sleep until the bar closes at 1.30am and the management doesn't give a dam; upon checkout they suggested they had an althernative room but made no attempt beforehand. My original allocated room had a vile smell but would also not have escaped the thud-thud-thud of the nightclub. Not an acceptable hotel on a Friday or Saturday night

A very nice hotel with three different themes for the rooms. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The breakfast selection is very broad with a buffet and a good selection of freshly cooked dishes too. The location is fantastic with many sights in easy walking distance such as the Gateway of India, Marine Drive and Nariman point. The only drawback is the nightclub in the same building. If you are not a sound sleeper, then you might want to bring some earplugs.

Great breakfast and great location to roam around the city - many interesting things to see and do during the day and the night. The decor of the interiors gives character to this hotel. The disco in the building is a bit noisy though.

A good hotel, although taxi driver found it difficult to find, so best to print off a map if not sure where you are going. Excellent location close to the Gateway to India and good restaurants (Leopold was good with plenty of buzz) and Colaba Social Club was also nice for a drink and close by. Others have mentioned the small bathrooms, but the rest of the room more than makes up for that if you aren't planning to spend hours in the bathroom. Service throughout was good and friendly and I thought this was excellent value for money for a big city,

It was okay room is good but toilet is ok. Very loud music sound from the bar
