The bathroom is quite small but the amenities are superb.

The hotel is just great. The only turning off part was that the room i was allotted was old and just not tempting.

The welcome was warm and we were given an early check in away from the noisy function room, But the positive experience finished at that point. Having told the staff we were going on an all day Mumbai tour with the excellent Sneha travel, we returned to find our room had been burgled of £15 cash and a bottle of Gin. The most disappointing thing about the theft was the lack of interest from Mr Neal the hotel Manager. Apart from the theft the hotel is well positioned for the sights, although the rooms are showing signs of 11 years worth of guests sleeping in them, and the air conditioning units were loud enough to drown out the noise of the Mumbai traffic!

Good location. Bit pricey. This should be a mid range hotel but charges higher end (for India) prices. Our room was a bit scruffy - the walls were scuffed and the skirting boards were coming off. Tiny bathroom. Room was very clean though. Overall it was reasonable.

A very small boutique hotel. Very attentive and friendly staff that go out of their way to help you. Excellent restaurant and food options. Slightly overpriced but I guess extra charge is for the location...walking distance to gateway and colaba market. All together a great experience. Highly recommend to everyone.

I used this hotel for a business trip, stayed one night. It is very well located and equipped for business travelers, but it is also dead center of Coloba action, so very convenient for the after-hours as well. Service is professional. Overall somewhat overpriced for its class. Charging for the Internet for example, with this kind of pricing, should be avoided. Still, depending on your business travel style, could make for a much more homely and relaxed stay than your typical 4 star accommodation.

When we arrived at the hotel we where a little bit disappointed from the outside appearance of the area. We have then been moved into a room where the wooden floor has partly come up because of a water damage. After we realized this and phoned the rezeption, we have been moved to a proper room immediately. Overall, the hotel rooms are rather small but clean. Everything was in place and worked properly. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is very expensive for Indian standards, it is still a fair deal taking into consideration the Mumbai prices. The great advantage of the hotel lies within its situation: Right behind the Taj and the Gateway of India almost every sight of Mumbai is within walking distance. As Mumbai is extremely packed and traffic is horrific we would in any event recommend to stay at the churchgate area. It´s worth the extra bucks you spend. One warning: There is also a discothek situated within the hotel. Every saturday this place is packed and known as one of the places to go, you can hear that in your hotel room
