Camps Bay Village

We love the complex and location been going there for years. But this time around we were disappointed with the cleanliness and service. We can also make a bed and wash dishes its the rest that need attention. Our stay fell over a weekend and public holiday, with no service on these days which is fine but then we should not pay the same rate. You can not use the Bay Hotel for marketing but do not supply ice, not proper guide to use safe, tv not working properly even though we reported it. Just overall disappointing

Very good experience. We like the location. A braai on the stoep would be a nice touch.

Amazing view of the beach and mountains, nice big apartment with all the comforts. Close to the beach, shops, restaurants. Friendly staff. Cleaned every day.

The best thing about this property is its location being minutes from the bars and restauraunts on Camps Bay. The apartments are basic but everything was supplied to enjoy our stay. The only downside is that the access to the Camps Bay Hotel is restricted to the left hand side of the hotel. We tried to visit on three occasions but there weren't sufficient sun beds and they were very cramped together. The pool is small. The other pool on the other side was virtually deserted which seemed a shame as we weren't allow we'd over there. That saying its a real bonus of The Camps Bay village to allow access. Definately our chosen place to stay. We have stayed twice in the apartments and once in the stone cottages and will def stay there on our next visit. Excellent value for money.

I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay here. From the super-friendly and helpful receptionist to the space and comfort of my studio apartment. Huge bed, firm mattress and pristine cotton bedding. The ceiling fan was effective and quiet enough to leave running all night without disturbing my sleep. The location is second to none. I would happily stay here again.

Nice bed! Good location! Powerful shower! You have to pay for parking. Stair on the way to the rooms, you have to carry your luggage (the stuff offers assistance).

The flat we had was lovely, had everything we needed and looked out onto the beach. The location within the complex was not good - we were not aware that you had to book parking as on this website it advertised free parking, Therefore we had not organised anything meaning we had to try and find a space on the road in a very busy area. And our flat was quite a walk from reception. The staff at check in were less than helpful, even running out of the apartment as soon as he handed us the keys, before we had the chance to ask anything because he knew we were not happy. Other than that it is in the centre of the town with plenty of restaurants close by.

A few friends / students stayed there while in Cape Town for a competition. Was lovely

Was not put on the advertised unit i presumed.

The room we stayed in had no visual privacy from any of the windows so when in the room our curtains remained drawn closed.
