Reasonable rates. Great location. Unable to connect to reception lines always busy!room floors untidy . inflated prices & bad food @ Codfather Restaurant.

Comfortable enough but expensive for what was offered. Most confusing on Expedia as we were never really sure what we had booked. Initially it said 2 Bed Apartment and then after booking said room only. I had to phone the resort to clarify and fortunately we had booked an apartment but now we were told it had no balcony, which was misleading from the Expedia photos. Not sure who is at fault here Expedia or the Resort. Overall it was comfortable enough in a good location and the staff were bright and cheerful

The accommodation was as we'd expected for the price we'd paid: We had J-Bay, a budget room. On arrival, we had no microwave or ironing board, but this was resolved within a few hours. A bit more thought could go into the layout and planning of the rooms - there was a lot of wasted space - and a set of drawers would help ! For information, our room was equipped with the following: Mini-fridge (adequate for 2 people) Microwave Iron/Ironing board Kettle Cutlery/crockery for 2 people - Although nothing to cook in and the plates were too big for the microwave Electronic safe - a Godsend for peace of mind ! Ceiling fan - worked extremely well ! TV/DVD/Alarm clock radio Bath and shower The accom is literally 5 minutes from the beach, and the Pick and Pay shop nearby sells everything, except alcohol. The 2 pools looked lovely, although we didn't use them as we were happy to use the beach. We had secure, covered parking adjacent to the accommodation which was perfect. Not a criticism, but be aware of the occasional rat around the bin/refuse area, which we had to pass to leave the car park. Provided a bit of excitement on a few occasions ! That said, this is nowhere near the actual accommodation. Bring a torch - it will be helpful for moving around after dark, and if you stay in J-Bay, bring some dark material about 3m X 3m to cover the very lightweight curtains which let light flood in as soon as the sun's up. Our beach blanket hung on the curtain rail and was perfect.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room I booked was a beach studio, which included a king-sized bed. The pool area was over all very quiet which was nice. Location is excellent. Everything that you need is within walking distance. We will be back!

Great location - one block from Camps Bay beach, shops, and lots of restaurants. We were also able to use the ocean front pool at the Bay Hotel (sister property) - which was great because the sea water is quite chilly!

Hotel looked nothing like the photos shown on their site - room was up a steep narrow stairwell with the room overlooking a busy street - no beach, no pool, very drab!!! No air-con and also we were charged 80 rand per day extra for parking - this was not mentioned when we booked on-line. The unit below was being retro-fitted, so we had construction noise all day! Over-all this was the worst place we stayed in over a 10 week vacation - would recommend that you look elsewhere - there are so many choices in the area, it will not be hard to find something better than this.

We stayed seven nights in this excellent resort.all the staff were efficient friendly and professional. The hotel is in an enviable position right across from the beach and the solitary supermarket in Camps Bay.It is also less than a three minute stroll to all the bars and restaurants on the seafront.Would thoroughly reccomend this resort for couples and small families looking for a fun beach vacation

I decided on this hotel as I was told that my stay included free access to the Bay Hotel beach club, Sandy B. When we checked in we were given passes to the beach club however, the day we went to use them we were told that there was no space for visitors from our hotel. So if you're staying here expecting that you'll get to go, don't be surprised if you don't. Since we stayed over Christmas we also found out that we would not have cleaning service 12/25 or 12/26. Essentially, the room wasn't serviced our entire stay. If you're looking for proximity to the beach at a reduced rate, then this is your place. Just don't expect too much.
