Idle Awhile Resort

Room looked better than the picture, staff was friendly and property was beautifully maintained. Their beach area was perfect, great restaurant and bar and lots of fun water stuff to use. We would definitely stay again!

Our vacation at Idle Awhile was amazing. We have already rebooked for next year! The rooms were clean, incredibly comfortable and well stocked. The staff were wonderful to say the least. Jenorah, Claudia and Kim at the bar, Cavin and Aaron on guest services and Marsha always willing to help with those extra questions made our vacation feel like we were staying with family. The surroundings were beautiful and it is very easy to make your day as quiet or as full as desired with all the activity on the beach! Thank you to everyone at Idle Awhile.

Idle Awhile was amazing from start to finish! We absolutely loved our room and the entire resort! (The restaurant was a little pricey though) but service was great and everyone was so friendly!! I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone/everyone!

Very nice resort, nice location and really awesome private beach, staff members are super helpful, can take a sunset cruise from nearby place which takes the tourist to the famous Rick’s Cafe for a spectacular sunset view. I highly recommend this property while staying in Negril.

i would go back in a New York Minute... comfy room and very nice staff ... beautiful beach makes for a wonderful stay.

Second time at this property. First time was excellent, with the most warm, caring, attentive staff. This time some (certainly not all) of the staff seemed a little less friendly and helpful. Not rude, just indifferent. Property is located in a wonderful spot, is nicely cared for but not perfect. Room was clean and well cared for. Wifi and phone systems were wiped out by a lightning strike while we were there (obviously not their fault) which made flight confirmation difficult. Based on previous stay we had high expectations that just weren't quite met. Its still a wonderful property that could use a bit of attention to the small details that really get noticed.

Very nice and cosy hotel. Amneties were working fine. Beach is perfect! You pay a premium compare to the hotels next, but it is a bit nicer. Should you stay long, you can enjoy also the amneties of the property they own on the cliff for the day.
