Somerset on the Pier Hobart

Excellent location.

The property is walking distance from day tour pick ups and allot of restaurants.Very organised and clean

Great location however the room did not live up to expectations. Heater was broken, smell in bathroom, the team tried to accommodate however didn’t feel like we had much options. Parking is not guaranteed and we found ourselves paying for nearby parking multiple times. Water in room was not free which is unusual. Overall best thing here was location

We were only in Hobart for one day/night and particularly wanted to visit the MONA gallery. The ferry for MONA departs a minute or so from the Hotel and we had beautiful views over the harbour. Well placed for local bars and restaurants too.

This hotel is kind of tucked away by the water. It’s just far enough to be peaceful, but just far enough to make walking through the main city a little chore. I didn’t know that this hotel was more like a furnished apartment building. The room was fabulous and I wanted to take the bed home with me. The extra blankets were soft and fluffy so we could cuddle up in the couch and watch the ships with our balcony door open. Staff were super friendly. Uber was able to find us here and our tour pick ups were pretty close by. I would definitely stay here again.

Walkable & easy access to Salamanca, Kelly’s Steps. Easy & quite numbers of parking space.

Great position within easy walking distance to Salamanca and the CBD. The apartment is well equipped and has a washing machine and dryer. The let down was the noise. The walls are thin and we were woken on and off through the night through to the early hours of the morning with party goers. The heat pump was very loud so we opted for the extra blanket.

The staff were welcoming and it's a great location. However, the rooms could use a facelift, the aircon sounded like a jet engine when you turned it on and the tv upstairs didn't work. I asked a couple of times for it to be fixed but nothing happened. Disappointed given the price per night.

Great to stay in the marina and see the yachts/boats moored in the evening light, and even better to wake up to the beautiful sight of the Hobart waterfront. Just amazing.
