The room is big especially the bathroom which equipped with shower booth and bath tub. The location is out of town so very quiet.

"Excellent Hotel, superb service"

Grand Prince was a fabulous hotel. Very close to Kyoto International Conference Center and Subway station. Easy ride (25 min) on the subway from Kyoto station. A little far from a lot of the great tourist destinations. Stayed during a typhoon and the hotel's customer service was outstanding. They were so helpful when plans shifted.

"Great for conferences at Kyoto ICC"

Hotel is nice, although the decor is a bit dated. If you have a conference at the international conference center is it very convenient. It is also easy to connect to the Kyoto subway, which is efficient and clean. It is a little further out from downtown and the major sites. Service was good. Free Wifi and the price was reasonable.

Property was nice, but no pool, could use one in the summer. Staff was the best asset, Very friendly and helpful on getting info, willing to go out of the way to help,

Nice hotel, rotten location. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. However, the restaurants are mediocre and overpriced and there are no good alternatives nearby. You have to walk 10 minutes to the subway and go into Kyoto to eat. I would not stay here again, even with the convenience to the conference center.

Great if you are attending a conference at the KICC, but would not recommend if wanting to do anything else in Kyoto. Subway is steps away from conference center and hotel. There are 10 subway stops from the Grand Prince to Kyoto station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the rooms very large. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything clean for us.

Very courteous staff. WiFi is free but very slow and there is no option to purchase faster WiFi. Also needs a gym for guests. There is not one.

Room was very spacious. The area was very quiet. There is a nice park near the hotel. Access by train from central Kyoto is very convenient.
