Cute room, matches pictures, nice pool area

Room smelled like a pool from their cleaning products, assigned second story with no elevators, property is very small, and I think I got sick from the restaurant food.

Opps/this is the answer for what I didn’t like:felt the personnel at the front desk when they checked us in were OK -but not super friendly and did not go above and beyond and telling us how things worked, etc. we loved the staff at the restaurant! So friendly so smiley so accommodating! The only thing was they asked us if we had any coupons for breakfast and I did not know anything about coupons? How did one get coupons?

What I did like was the ambience of the entire place the old southwest it was very charming. The pool was amazing. The restaurant was great. Our room was satisfactory. I felt like it was a little overpriced for what we got, but I would recommend it to people.

We love this historic lodge. It has some old west elegance.

The receptionist was wonderful, but the lodge needs more than one person at the desk during check-in hours. The deadbolt stuck in the extended position. We found a way to trick it into retracting. This should be addressed by maintenance.

This is a beautiful, well maintained hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and linens, and lots of private outdoor space with gorgeous landscaping. The pool area is relatively small but welcoming. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on our semi private patio listening to bird songs.
