Sea Cliff Resort & Spa

All was superb until check out.The power was down and we could not use our credit card.It was a real scramble to dig up our various cash currency to pay the bill.We believe the hotel was aware of this issue as they told us the power would be coming back on at 5:00pm.After having such a wonderful and relaxing time here it was unfortunate that our departure was stressful.

Great views, great bar & restaurant staff, management could be more professional although they do come & see you if asked to see them. Menu is good as long as you are not vegeterian. Although, I did get an excuse at breakfast that the reason I cannot have an omelette after 45 minutes of waiting is because the eggs are frozen. If you want a nice sandy beach - sea cliff does not have one.

We stayed at Sea Cliff for 3 nights after climbing Kili and a week long safari. We had such an amazing time, the pool and the jetty bar were the highlights.

Great pools, great views of the ocean from anywhere, too loud air conditioning. a lot of activities: catamaran, billiards, table tennis, kayaks, bicycles.... Pretty far to the beach (aboput 200m). quite far from the beach (about 200m), but the great jetty.

This hotel is amazing, right on the water located about 45 mins from the airport: this place is geared more towards a luxury stay / some place you'd wanna go with a significant other. If your a single person wanting to have a good time I would more suggest the northern end of the island where lots of tourists are.

This is a lovely hotel for a mature audience that enjoys relax, beauty and peace of mind. Not really the best choice for young single people. I must advise others of the fact that it is called "sea cliff" because it is located along a cliff, therefore there is NO beach or sea access, only a breathtaking view of the ocean and its array of turquoise colors, which you cannot access to. So it is designed for people that don't proritize bathing in the ocean, but rather enjoy luxurious infinity pools with a gorgeous view. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, the hotel is enchanting and luxurious, and very well kept. But of all, its main asset is the staff which just make your stay unbelievable and worthwhile. Probably the warmest and happiest people I've ever met. They make you feel special, remember your name, approach you often and are always ready to go the extra mile, every time you need something. A big thank you to every one of them.

It's very lux hotel, quiet, very relaxing, nice swimming pools, hotel is on the cliff but there is a beach connected to it but not as good as Nungwi. Lots of plants and trees in the water. But you can come down to the sea directly from jetty, nice clean water. Buffets are really nice, good food, amazing staff, top standard.

Lucinda and the entire staff at Sea Cliff went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. This resort is amazing. The landscaping, layout and lighting make this a perfect retreat for anyone wanting to just relax, dine and appreciate beautiful landscaping and superb ocean views. We will be coming back again for another stay in the very near future.

Exceptioal quality hotel resort based on value for money!

Our stay at the Sea Cliff Resort and Spa was one of the best mini-vacations my wife and I have had in a very long time, and it could not have come at a better time because we were exhausted from the demands of raising a family and managing our high pressure careers. since I was scheduled to attend a meeting in Arusha, I though it would be a good opportunity for us to have a quiet and pampered weekend in Zanzibar so I made arrangements for my wife to join me at the ned of my meeting. We were looking for a resort where we could, first and foremost, have some relaxing time. This meant for us a resort where our privacy would be respected, with excellent service, good food, and a nice ambience. The Sea Cliff Resort met all our expectations. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs; the facilities were impeccable; the location was breathtaking.... We are looking forward to our next visit to the Sea Cliff. Hats off to the management and the staff!!!
