The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort

Beautiful ambiance, friendly staff, clean, comfortable, affordable. Absolutely loved it My only complaint is the parking lot is too far away.

Great lagoon location with private beachfront and on site restaurant. Within walking distance to Mambo beach with numerous beach clubs, restaurants and shops.

Would absolutely stay here again.

This was the 2nd stay for my daughter and I, & the 1st stay for my future D-n-L and her mom. So conveniently located with daily transportation to the grocery store, & to Willemstad w/o an extra fee. $10/person transportation for Punta Nights, a great price all things considered. We participated in resort activities such as the poolside movie night. The beach, restaurant, & location were fantastic. All the staff were pleasant & kind. My son’s future M-n-L wants to have all members of both sides come next year. We will return. Thank you for a wonderful week.

I love the view from my room. Music and live nightlife were very enjoyable. A lot of activities to do nearby. My favorite was the Dolphin Academy and Sea Aquarium right next door.

Great resort will definitely stay again

This property is just fine if you are looking for a no-frills stay. If you are looking for luxury, this isn't the place to stay. I wasn't expecting luxury by any means but I am very surprised that this is property is part of a timeshare-like program given how many updates it needs. Cons: Plumbing issues (lots of plunging needed) inability to control the temperature in suites, and overall very dated. Even though we weren't there to watch TV, for travelers who want to catch up on the news, no real way to do so. The TV is our room barely worked. Pros: For Travelers needing a kitchen, this place has everything you need. Also, the shuttle to the grocery store and to the downtown area are probably the most appealing amenity give how expensive taxis can be in Curacao. It is VERY quiet so good place for relaxing. Great ocean views, very close to a very nice beach and lots of great restaurants in the general vicinity. There is nice restaurant on the property (the food is delicious) but it's not affiliated with the property so you can't charge anything to your room which isn't a big deal. Depending on how long you are staying though, you may get tired of the same menu if you don't want to venture out. My stay was absolutely fine for the amount of days I was here and for the type of trip I was on but I would not stay here again. Staff was friendly for the most part, one staff member in particular almost discouraged our group from going into the city by sharing a lot of inaccurate information about the area we were going, he also wasn't helpful with making any suggestions for an alternative. I am glad we ignored him, went and had a great time without any issues/traffic/over crowing, or any of the ridiculous things he mentioned. There are ZERO frills on this property so don't expect any. Overall, this property doesn't meet my personal standards so I will not ever stay here again but it wasn't a total disaster.

Everyone was very friendly. The private beach was spotless and well maintained. I felt safe and would recommend it to a friend or family.
