The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort

Our family of 4, with 2 college kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Sea Aquarium Resort! The staff could not have been more helpful and so nice! The front desk staff were very attentive. There is plenty to do here. We did the Tugboat snorkel trip with Irie tours, which was great! We also took advantage of the other daily activities arranged by the resort, and enjoyed those as well. The pool was very peaceful with plenty of longes and covered places to sit. The bartenders were friendly and the drinks were yummy. The beach also had plenty of places to lounge. My daughter snorkeled from the beach and saw lots of fish and squid. You are also in the perfect location to walk to Mambo Beach, with lots of places to shop and eat. The restaurant at the resort had the kindest staff as well! Overall, I think this may be my favorite resort we’ve ever stayed at. I highly recommend staying here and if we get the chance to return to Curaçao we will definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at Royal Resort and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It’s in a great location, with easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants—everything is just a short walk or quick ride away. The resort itself is a good spot to relax and unwind, with plenty of nice things to do around. Service was excellent throughout our stay. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. If you're looking for a comfortable place with a convenient location and great service, Royal Resort is a solid choice. Would happily stay here again!

The property was absolutely beautiful! Location was great. The room had everything we needed and the balcony was stunning. The snorkeling was great right off the beach. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!!

Hotel was great. Very quiet. Easy to walk to about 10 restaurants. We were able to watch the dolphins every morning.

We were not quite sure what to expect from a timeshare stay, so if you too are considering a stay here, then I’ll share the scoop with you: Taxis from airport are easy, and takes 40 minutes and will cost you $45. On arrival walk up the steps to check in and they do a great job explaining everything. Take advantage of the free shuttle to the local supermarket as taxis are expensive (as a Brit living in the USA, I found everything in Curacao overly expensive). The rooms are aged but if you get a suite they are large with comfortable furniture and full kitchen - the ceilings are low and lighting is dark which makes it feel old fashioned. The ac works great, patios overlooking the sea are large, and the two pools and HOT tub are great. There is a bar at the pool that you can charge to your room and a bbq grill you can use. The beach is small but adequate and the separate restaurant is right there if you want drinks. We swam over to mango beach several times! If you drive then the scuba place is literally 5 min walk away, as is the Aquirium which you must pay to enter (only timeshare “members” get free tickets). We found the staff to be great and it was a refreshing change to stay here instead of a traditional hotel. The movie and popcorn at the pool one night was lovely!!

Excellent service, very clean, nice atmosphere, transportation was great. We had a great time. As a member of Expedia we had a bottle of wine 🍷 in our room. I totally recommend it to everybody.

The people and property were great. The problem was that there was a construction site next door at the aquarium which went onall day everyday, Saturday and Sunday included. East moving equipment at 8am on a Saturday and a Sunday.

Loved the Hitel and Mambo beach area!

The place has everything you need. A beautiful beach, nice accimodations, wonderful food and friendly stuff. The building is not that modern but is in good shape. Directions are dificult to folie even with a GPS. We asi about many times to final y made it.

The private beach was beautiful and the sunsets were stunning. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The property was quiet and relaxed yet located near Mambo Beach if you wanted a lively evening. Our one bedroom suite with kitchen was great and had all you might need. Highly recommend this property.
