Whalers Cove Oceanfront Resort

I was bummed that the coffee was not readily available for me at the office, but that was so minor in the scheme of things! The location was perfect and the condo was a beautiful spacious surprise! Great location in general. Hope to return!

My husband and I loved Whaler’s Cove Resort. Our condo was spacious, clean, comfortable, tranquil and had a great view of the ocean. The sound of waves crashing and parakeets chirping was delightful. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Whaler’s Cove is a short distance to shopping and to various beaches. Our favorite nearby beach was Beach House Beach which had fabulous snorkeling. Parking is a bit difficult at Beach House Beach so get there early and give yourself plenty of time. We would definitely stay at Whaler’s Cove again when vacationing in Kauai.

The front office staff was super welcoming and the accommodations were excellent! We weren't aware that the front office was open only from 9-5, and after a delayed flight we were thankful we arrived prior to 5! There was no fitness room or on-site restaurant. However, the condo's location is great! We would stay here again.

Place is absolutely beautiful...pictures don't do it justice. Kitchen was fully stocked, had everything, even a juicer! Only issue was the bed in the master bedroom was not that comfortable. Loved the place, the pool was so nice. Cannot wait to go back. Unit 123 was everything I had hoped for and more. View was positively spectacular. Sea turtles swimming right in front of the property...loved it, hated to leave. Cannot wait to go back.

This was an unexpectedly large two bedroom condo with full kitchen that turned out to be a perfect spot for our family get away. We had all the amenities we needed for this to feel like home. The location was outstanding and from what we can tell, all of the units had fantastic views. We were able to take our Surf Report every morning by stepping out and looking at the breaks at Poipu Beach and PK's and knew which direction to head. Many were paying for snorkeling tours which ended up right off of our rocks. You can easily enter from the public access in the Whalers Cove parking lot if you wish. Staff was incredibly helpful and they have a good number of boogie boards, water shoes etc to loan for the asking.

Whaler's Cove is a treasure! The setting is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are well cared for. The apartment was spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly, and there was a ton of beach equipment for the guests to borrow. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our second time in Hawaii and our second time here. Suits us perfectly, lovely, luxurious condos, quiet location but easy walk to shops and various beaches. One direction - snorkelling, a great bar and restaurant overlooking the beach, a longer walk to gardens and Spouting Horn geyser (blowhole). Other direction - Poipu beach, great swimming. Up the road, shops and cafes about 10 minutes walk. Whalers Cove has snorkels etc for guests, books to read. Nice staff, great pool and spa pool and a great time of year to go as it is pretty quiet.

Worth every penny, much better than the best hotels, the location was superb, we fell asleep listening to the ocean, it's private, we felt like we had the pool to ourselves. We booked another stay already for September!

Amazing facility - like a postcard. Clean spacious units overlooking the ocean with a beautiful breeze to enjoy the setting. No better value to be found.
