The hotel staff were a highlight. Everyone was deeply attentive, we even got laundry hand delivered to the room. I personally loved that this hotel is quite hidden from the street (you wouldn't think much of it until you walk through the front door to the central courtyard in the photos). Very picturesque! Very central location, close to the main Plaza Grande, and a 20min walk to the 'posh' area of Merida. Although you're much closer to the Gastro Museum with delicious food - must try cochinita pibil if you visit Merida! The room was good, air con as well as a ceiling fan. Specious shower and bathroom. It could do with some modernising - the charm is that the hotel was at some point a nunnery, so expect dark wood furniture/headboard etc, perhaps a little dated to some. We loved Merida, and one of the highlights was the Uxmal tour booked by the hotel (no need to book in advance, we arrived late about 7pm to check in and still managed to book the tour for 8am next morning.

As mentioned the room could feel a little dated, but that's the charm. It feels very authentic.

Le cadre- un ancien couvent reconverti en hôtel avec patio- fontaine et une piscine sur l'arrière. Le personnel absolument parfait : l'hospitalité n'est pas un vain mot pour les Yucatèques. Le valet parking. La proximité du Zocalo et de tous les commerces,marchés,cafés et restaurants.

La clim qui ronfle et ne peut être régulée.

My son’s room was really excellent. Our room had a musty smell but they let us change and the room they placed us in was much better and very comfortable.

L’emplacement était super ! La piscine est vraiment très agréable et bienvenue quand il fait très chaud

Il serait bien de rajouter des petits frigos dans les chambres pour garder l’eau au frais lorsqu’il fait très chaud

The building is historic and beautiful. Location is fantastic, easy walk to main square and museums etc and the friendly staff made our 4 now get stay feel extremely welcoming. The pool is a huge bonus after a hot day exploring the Mayan heritage sites.

No ability to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room.

Taille des lits (120cms pour un lit double) Check in trop rigide : arrivée à 14h pour un check in à 15h. La chambre était prête mais ont refusé de nous la donner avant 15H
