Comfort Inn Ottawa Kansas

Pool was closed part of stay, construction materials in several piles around building, bathroom not clean, (mold). Room had strong musty smell. Cable intermittent, no vending. Staff not helpful in answering questions.

The rooms need a major overhaul, you can’t use caulk to fix everything. It definitely not like the picture when you book your room.

We liked the location. It was close to downtown but far enough away that we weren’t bothered by noise.

I enjoyed the staff, Suzy was very informative, genuine and caring. The distance from the University is a plus. However, it needs to be updated. It had no usb plugins, lighting in the bathroom was dim, the bathroom had no fan so the room stayed muggy. The room itself smelt like mold.

Breakfast was good, location was good

Front desk staff pleasant and efficient. Room was clean and in good condition. Nice hotel. Convenient to dining. Can walk to several restaurants.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking this time since we decided to go to a different destination last minute, but hotel staff very helpful and always a pleasure to stay here, very decent hotel for price, breakfast over average in this udget class and room always clean.
