Courtyard by Marriott Bryan College Station

We spent one night in this hotel recently to visit family that lived in the immediate vicinity. Overall the property was nice, it was clean, it had all of the amenities we wanted. Nice neighborhood, Starbucks next door, etc. However, the bed and pillows were rock hard and the AC did not blow much air so it took a very long time to cool down the room (like not cold until the wee hours of the morning). None of us in our party slept very good. It is what it is. So we went down for breakfast around 10am on Sunday only to find that the Bistro had closed an hour earlier than advertised. So no breakfast. The schedule displayed on the TV in our room plainly said "Weekend Breakfast: 7am to 11am". Complete indifference from the clerk at the Bistro. The clerk at the front desk acted like she didn't quite no what to do about it but she put the incident into her notes. So it was McDonalds for us. Not what we wanted after a bad night of sleep. While I'm complaining, I will also point out that the exterior of the room windows are very dirty. Mold growing all over ours. I don't think they had been cleaned in years. I suppose I would stay here again if I had business in the immediate area and needed to stay close by as overall it was a clean, safe, family hotel. Otherwise, if you are in town for pleasure then there are better options in College Station. It's the little things that matter the most and management needs to pay attention to the little things.

This review is specifically for Jaimie Johnson! I had an issue to resolve with a business associate's incorrectly billed card and after much hassle (from others!) she saved the day! Thank you, Jaimie, for taking the time and care for me as a customer! I appreciate you follow through in helping me get the correct card charged. It sounds like such a small ordeal but to me it was very important. She definitely turned my frown up-side-down! Jaimie is fantastic!!!

Nice modern lounge area, bed so comfy!

Overall just and okay/average Courtyard. It is a bit dated and probably gets beat up by those coming in for football games so shows some wear and tear. It was still clean and a good hotel with nice staff. However, overall I would likely look for another hotel next time I am in College Station.
