"Great stopover choice"

Our stopover choice when heading to Michigan from Chicago. Have stayed a few times but this was the first for a long while. The bonus is that it now has a bar and serves food. This saves the need for driving into town. Staff were really friendly both at dinner and breakfast.

"Always Delivers a great experience !"

Staff at hotel very nice and helpful. A non handicapped room would have been nice given I’m 6,-2” and a regular shower would have been nice. Breakfast at resturant was excellent. 20 years ago I stayed at this site while building a plant in Michigan City. It was a great extended stay then and it did not fail 20 years later!

"Clean hotel with limited offerings. Friendly restaurant staff."

It was clean, and the wait staff in the restaurant were all very nice. The gym was nice.

The pillows were very uncomfortable. The room went between freezing and warm/low airflow. No gluten free toast or other GF option at breakfast, even though the staff tried to be helpful. I had to call to remind the front desk to credit me $20/day for breakfast as a Gold member because they forgot when I checked out (even though they offered it at check in). The pool closed for most of our stay due to PH problems. Location was convenient to Indiana Dunes but otherwise wasn’t much around, so it felt overpriced for its location and for what you get.

Everything was great! Service, friendliness, cleanliness, everything was on par. The only complaint I have is that our bathtub was cracked. You have to be careful otherwise you would pinch your foot.
