I had a very poor experience at Hyatt Place Rogers/Bentonville during my stay beginning Friday, August 29. I arrived around 2:00 p.m. to check in and was greeted by a blonde older woman with what I believe was a Swedish accent. She was not customer-friendly and argued with me for over 30 minutes, insisting I had not paid for my room despite my showing proof of advance payment. Rather than escalating to a manager, she continued to argue and claimed my card had expired, which only prolonged the situation. Based on this experience, her attitude and approach are likely to cost this location business if they haven't already. Another woman was brought out and introduced as a manager, though I’m not convinced she was. After nearly an hour, I was handed a sticky note with a phone number and told to call myself. I called Hyatt’s 800 number and spoke with an agent who confirmed my room had been paid for and said she would contact the hotel. She put me on hold and returned to explain the issue needed to be escalated to a supervisor, but the call disconnected before that happened. I had to call again, and after repeating the situation, I was finally connected with a supervisor. She put me on hold to contact the hotel, only to return and say the front desk was not answering. Nearly two hours into this ordeal, I approached another staff member in the lobby and told him to answer the phone so the supervisor could get through. Only then did the actual hotel manager become involved. When the manager finally handed me the keys, he explained that my payment had been “lost” and said it was not either of our faults. This felt dismissive and lacked accountability. I wasn't offered a genuine apology, follow-up, or any form of goodwill gesture. Even more concerning, the same front desk employee later approached me at breakfast to justify her actions rather than acknowledge the frustration she caused. On checkout day, the elevators were not working, forcing my companion and me to carry our luggage down four flights of stairs. While the payment issue was eventually resolved, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service made this stay completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this property.

Great location, fantastic staff, good breakfast and a perfect room and stay for our family of 5. The kids loved the pool, everything was very clean and smooth!

It is a tad older but it doesn’t make too much of an impact!

Room was great. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Facility wasn’t prepared for breakfast. Ran out of tableware, plates, glasses, and had to substitute some preprepared food items for their regular fare.
