Lakeside Chalet - Mumbai, Marriott Executive Apartments

We recently stayed for a family staycation at this property. We had a wonderful time right from the time of check in to check out. At the time of check in, since the room to be allotted to us was not ready, they temporarily gave us another (smaller) room - which was a wonderful gesture. The room finally allotted to us was spacious with a wonderful view of Powai Lake. The kids' playroom at the property was well stocked and thoroughly enjoyed by our kids. Even when we had a minor emergency with our kid, they were kind enough to quickly organise first aid and a complimentary taxi to the nearest hospital for further medical attention. Most importantly, Mr. Puneet (Manager) personally tended to the emergency and was a very calming presence in the entire situation. We enjoyed all our meals at the property. Special shout out to the Chefs on duty who made special meals for our kids.

Hotel is run down now & needs refurbishing

Most Petfriendly hotel with a lot of open space in the heart of mumbai city A beautiful well maintained hotel .The rooms were spacious ,big .very clean .well maintained. Excellent team all the departments .Lionel and Shashi were very professional and sweet .Housekeeping cluster director is really good .To maintain such a big property and well kept . A good family break or for business .

Perfect place with ample space and decent breakfast

We originally intended to stay for two nights, but we ended up staying for one extra because we were so taken by the property....Their hospitality was much appreciated by us.... Every member of their team greets you with a smile on their face every time they see you... I am writing to let @lakeside chalet marriott know how much I appreciate the outstanding customer service that your front office manager @Jasleen has provided us.... Jasleen has always been very attentive and helpful in every manner... Her kind gesture towards me and my family and hospitality was beyond satisfaction.... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to @jasleen....

We Erred and dint read the form provided during the check-in formalities in detail. This mistake costed us a fine. The hotel is NO SMOKING and one of the guest smoked in the toilet. For this violation we had to pay the fine with taxes. (we did get some concession from the full amount) This was a genuine mistake form our end which we admitted. it would have been most appreciated if the manager in charge could waive it off. A suggestion to the management that they should put up NO SMOKING signages at various places and not just in one small form. Also the check-in person should inform the guest about the same. This experience completely ruined our happiness that we had come for celebrating a cousins 50th birthday for whom the stay was a gift. Also the manager in charge should have handled this matter in more calmer way and not be so rude to us. This is not what is expected from the Marriott brand. We had "Wonka" experience since we dint read the "small prints" I end this by saying that if only there were NO SMOKING signages, then matured responsible & law abiding people like us wont have to go through the agony of paying fines.

Really good hotel to stay especially the executive rooms. very spacious and cosy. the food was also good. the area is also good. nice lawn area to sit and relax. room had kitchen and a common room if you want to sit and relax. i really loved the stay and experience

I felt like I am in some foreign country when I entered my room. The rooms are like compact apartments. Loved the way they are designed. The view from the room was spectacular. The hotel staff was friendly, service was not only good but prompt as well. Though I had already asked for a birthday cake, the staff also brought another cake. A gesture much appreciated. The dinner was at Lake view Cafe which was indeed amazing. Next morning, breakfast was again awesome. The upma, misal, omelette everything satisfied the taste buds.

This hotel was clean, well-appointed and had wonderful helpful and friendly staff who couldn't do enough to make our stay great. Use of the Westin facilities, especially the pool, gym and restaurant, was a highlight and we spent most of our time there. It is a long trip in to central Mumbai (45-120 minutes) but the taxis are very cheap and Tuks even cheaper.
