Money taken from wallet on second day - hotel called police and told us if we wanted to take it further we would need to go to the police station to make a complaint. Reception staff were lovely Half board but food not great (Breakfast & Lunch) Rooms clean and a nice pool area but sunbeds hard to get if you are not down for 9am rush Wouldn’t return

Stayed here for a week still here leaving tomorrow, we paid for half board and wish we didn’t the food was awful no choice same awful food every day mostly inedible, you don’t get a drink not even a bottle of water with half board you have to provide your own and when you do bring a drink into the restaurant because they don’t provide one they tell you can’t bring drinks in are they kidding, an absolute joke, I’ve never had half board before where a drink of some kind isn’t provided but in Melia you get no drink at all, the restaurant staff are rude impolite and unhelpful what a disappointment all round, cost us a lot more then we were hoping to spend because even though we went half board we had to buy drinks that wasn’t provided at all and we had to pay for food elsewhere because it was plain awful, the rooms were nice, nice view, takes forever for them to bring something, if you ask for anything like an iron, loo paper for example, location was good, entertainment was alright, my advise if you choose to stay here go room only avoid restaurant food and staff altogether, avoid if I were you.

Muy buen hotel. Muy bien la habitación. Muy buenas vistas cuanto más arriba. Muy buena la comida. Muy bien la piscina. Buen sitio y fácil de aparcar. Muy bien las actividades. Muy simpáticos los trabajadores del hotel.

Me gustó todo mucho. Como crítica constructiva, únicamente pondría algo para tender las toallas en la terraza.

Las cenas

Stayed as a couple for a week in June bed & breakfast. Our room was on the 11th floor overlooking the pool with good views of Benidorm. High floor room recommended. The room was clean, fresh towels every day, staff are friendly and any issue quickly sorted. Breakfast was ok but dining room loud & busy. We went out for breakfast a couple of days. Saw the ABBA & Michael Jackson tribute acts in the hotel which were very good. Hotel is well situated near enough but far enough away for a peaceful sleep. Corner Bar good for breakfast. Killer Cow for steak & ribs Los Ranchos for paella Yes would stay again but probably room only

This hotel is huge, the pool is a 5 star pool, absolutely stunning with its lazy river however they don’t allow you to have inflatables in the pool even though they sell them in the hotel shop! The pool area doesn’t open till 9am and closes at 7pm. You can’t even sit in the gardens before 9. Really disappointing. The rooms are more like a 3star hotel with a shower over a bath that spray everywhere if you’re not careful. We had a broken chair on the small balcony that isn’t cleaned very well. The staff and really friendly. Would I come back to this hotel. No unfortunately. It’s not for me.
