Very nice room. However, we were there for 2 nights and there was no maid service . By the time we got back to the room after the first night, it was too late to bother calling about...
Excellent facilities; very friendly staff. We stayed in the budget unit - Ridge Point. Everything was 1st class and the room was adequate; especially for the price except for the shower. The shower was as small as the one we had on a cruise ship, and didn't have a removable head like the cruise ship did. Could only rinse off upper body. I'm sure the other more expensive buildings (Ridge View, etc) had better showers. We stayed with 3 other couples; one of which had a suite w/ full kitchen. There was a nice private common area w/ gas barbecue, pool table, big screen TV, large dining table, sofas, comfy chairs, and toilets. We all had a nice barbecue dinner one night. The main Ridge building had racket ball court and other amenities that I don't normally associate with a hotel in this price range. This might be the best value hotel I've ever stayed at if it weren't for the tiny shower.
Iphone GPS did not get us their. No one to talk to help via phone. After 7pm phone number goes to management co. that does not list this hotel. The hotel is not a hotel but a spalling timeshare of many similar name complexes, and no clear signage to a front desk check in location. Thank god, the people who staff the place are very helpful. Management is apparently using the customer to check that their hotel is run properly, rather than trying the address on iPhone, and checking phone numbers actually are useful at 7pm, on their own itineraries.
I wish I had known about this place sooner; not only was my room 1/4 the price of the hotel rooms on the downtown strip, but it was much more updated, clean and enjoyable. Ridge Pointe provides easy free shuttle service to the main Tahoe strip and waterfront, along with abundant activities and recreational facilities. It was by far the nicest stay I have had in Tahoe, and only a fraction of the price. The room came with a kitchenette and all the necessities of a home away from home, including a washer and dryer. I especially enjoyed that each building had it's own rec room and hot tub facility. I really can't say enough about how great the resort was... I have nothing bad to say about the place. I will definitely be back.
Nice location ! Great for skiing, Close to Lake Tahoe, about 15 minutes
We had a great time in Tahoe, The Ridge Point condo was in perfect location for our 5 day stay.. We were able to be in town within minutes.. Beautiful place.
