Super 8 by Wyndham Baytown / I-10

The main staff were great. But the maid was horrible..she told us twice that we had 30 minutes to leave ..when we had already paid for our room...then every day after would just walk in our room without knocking. She would only do this immediately after one of our cars left..the office.. Great people would only say at our complaint

Truly enjoyed the stay here. Entire experience from check in to check out has been wonderful. Outstanding staff was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. We travel alot and always stay at Super 8, however this hotel has been the best by far. Definitely recommend to anyone

We planned to be in the area to visit family for a long weekend. This hotel was close by. When we checked in on Friday afternoon the front desk clerk said "I need a favor. Please move your car by 8 am tomorrow morning. We are having the parking lot resurfaced." I asked if it would be done in just the one day and he said "yes they will work from 8 to 5 and be done." NOPE. Not done Saturday, not done Sunday, and woke us up at 7 am on Monday morning to power wash the whole mess. Still hadn't started when we checked out after 8. What we got was to put up with a parking lot full of potholes so bad that we could barely navigate, then two nights where the whole place was blocked off, leaving us to walk in the dark to our room a fair distance with my mother, who is 85. NOT ACCEPTABLE SUPER 8. I checked in at the office twice regarding the situation and was met with complete and total indifference. The room itself was worn and dated, but seemed clean. 3 people, 3 bath towels, 3 washcloths, only 2 hand towels. Every day. Breakfast was appallingly bleak. Good for us that we were able to eat with our family elsewhere. We won't be back.

The man at desk was rude. They don’t clean room if staying more than one night. The room smelled sour from air conditioner leaking in floor wetting half the room.

The lobby is fine, and the exterior is fine, too. Also, it's easy off & on, from Interstate 10. The room, however, was somewhat tattered and the bathroom was not particularly clean. The door handle on the bathroom was loose, and the coffee pot was missing a piece. The AC was cold, though. This was not a horrible room, but it needs renovation, for sure. The free breakfast was sparse, and they didn't even have the jelly & butter containers full (just one jelly there). I'd probably choose a different place, next time in the area. RJT

Friendly staff just old hotel that needs updating. Clean, but outdated. Good place to stay for truckers but not family. I dont know why i have to make this review so many characters. I don’t know what else to say.

Weekend get away

Checkin was slow and basic details like breakfast timings,wifi password were not provided.There are no towels and toiletries in the room.The room was too hot and would not cool down even after turning it to 60F. Basically the room was not ready to be checked in. I would not expect this from Super8 and it is a serious impact to the brand. It makes me think about not booking any Super8 ever at any of the US locations.

Carpet was filthy, our feet black after just an hour in the room. Beds were not made, blankets on chair and in a wad on bed. Ricky took care of having someone come help me dress the beds. He washed the left, dirty blankets and gave them back later. He brought 2 new pillows to replace stained pillows that were left uncovered. Ricky was very nice and did over and above what I asked. The anti slip strip had peeled up a lot in the shower and the whole bathroom gets wet when using the shower. Need anti slip all over tile not just in shower. It was quiet, no trouble while there. Also need to move the desk further from the door as a wheel chair in takes more room.

Great comfortable rooms All updated.. Parking for Bob tails. Great Restaurants within walking distance. New BB theater across the street great clean theater with bar
