Hotel Les Jumeaux Courmayeur

Third time I have stayed here for Feb half term skiing, this time in the annexe for the first time. It is right next to the big cable car and pretty cheap but the rooms are tired, beds and pillows uncomfortable, the breakfast is limited and there is no WiFi in bedrooms, which these days is unforgivable. Make sure you spend more time skiing and eating out.

Good choice for breakfast. Rooms were a decent size and we were able to use the bathroom as a drying room as it was very warm.(Handy when skiing) Make sure you take the correct mains plug adaptor as the sockets are a 3 small pin affair that I had not seen before. On the whole a good value hotel !

Ideal location. only a 2 minute walk to ski lifts and 5 minute walk in Courtmayeur town center.

A few days skiing and the hotel was extremely well located.

More like a hostel than a hotel as we were put in a separate building away from the main hotel

The staff and breakfast are both fantastic, but they wasted their money putting up walls or ceilings because for how poor the soundproofing is, your neighbors might as well be sitting in your bed with you!

Exceptionally convenient location. 5 minute walk to the high street where most of the nice restaurants, shops etc. are. Out the back ski ro door only 100m to the cable car to go up to Courmayeur. Snow was pretty limited, but also convenient to get to La Thuille (10 minute walk to bus station and 20 minute bus to La Thuille for 4 euros return, same walk to bus station and 30 minute bus to Chamonnix for 25 euros). Great flexibility. Hotel itself was great, cracking breakfast and exceptionally helpful staff. Very useful for us at it was our first time visiting. Will definitely be returning!

Twin beds requested at time of online booking were not noted by the staff. We had to request twice for the beds and linen to be corrected. Our ground floor room, without air conditioning, was stifflingly hot and it was unsafe to open the doors while sleeping at night. We requested a new room the next morning, and were (eventually) given a very nice upgrade to a 4th floor room with a balcony with a view to the mountains. Great breakfast buffet and attentive wait staff. Internet point in the lobby was appreciated.

Short break ski-ing , great location re the cable car , NOT a 4 star rating but ok and reasonable price. Lacked a decent evening restaurant and atmosphere in the poorly staffed bar.
