Super 8 by Wyndham Clarksville AR

The bed wasn't very comfortable. I woke up with cramps in my side each time I turned over. The coffee was simply terrible, both in the lobby and in the room. I'm not a coffee snob but this was literally not even worth drinking. Raisin bran was really the only breakfast offering - they also had some strange off-brand pre-packaged cookies. On the plus side, the shower was nice and hot and the ac/heat worked fine. They provided clean towels on request.Though there was an open spot in the ceiling above the shower. I'll even let the one-choice breakfast go since it was edible. (Although other budget motels provide a nice variety in their continental breakfasts, including other Super 8's). But any place that can't provide a comfortable bed and a decent cup of coffee gets a "poor" rating overall from me. Especially if I pay $74 plus tax per night. These aren't frivolous extras - these are basics. The location in Morrilton was actually quite a bit better.

The location of the property was nice and close to everything.

Very noisy, woke up to kittens meowing throughout the night, the tv was stuck in Spanish, very poor lighting, hair dryer didn’t work, and there were no little complimentary items available in the room.

Room was clean, staff was nice . There’s multiple gas stations and restaurants within seconds of it.

Checked in at 10:30 and night clerk was a very nice man. Even hand delivered my credit card to my room that I left at the desk. First class service— property was clean - just older.

Toilet barely flushed, Tv wouldn’t stay plugged into the wall, lights where not on, outdated, bathroom ceiling round light had holes and wasn’t covered, I had to use a Bobby pin from my hair to keep the curtains closed their was no outer curtain and the air conditioner kept blowing the curtains open to see right in our room.

Overall we didn't have a good experience. Staff was friendly but there were many difficulties with the room, etc. We called ahead, made a reservation, gave credit card info, personal info, etc - but when we arrived we were told this "didn't count as a reservation, and we don't have a room for you" Once we got into a (clean) room it was fine, typical Super 8. Some items were updated, many look like they were purchased at Walmart and placed in the rooms. An Old-Spice bottle in the shower as "complimentary soap" was an odd touch.... Again - People were nice, making reservations sucked, rooms (once we got into a clean one) weren't half bad. This location works well as a last-ditch option.

The rooms were seemingly clean. Dust cover however was not at all. To the point I removed said dust covers before getting in the bed. Stains and cigarette burn holes all over (I have video evidence). The telephone didn’t work. The television was stuck on one Spanish speaking channel. The peep hole had tissue paper shoved in it. The shower did have good pressure but the liner is pointless to even have up if it doesn’t contain the water from spilling out onto the floor (yes the shower curtain was inside the tub while showering). We found 4 outside bugs inside but we are from the country so we just killed them and didn’t worry too much about it (also have photographs of this). Upon first impression, check in staff were friendly. I initially thought there was maybe a language barrier as to why the two working the desk were speaking amongst one another in their native language, but once both of them spoke fluent English to me it became clear that something was off. I 36 y.o. Female was traveling with my 13 y.o. Daughter for travel ball. We were placed at the far end of the building on the second floor. The trouble began around midnight when someone attempted to get into our room and continued to mess with the door handle for about an hour. I moved the chair in front of the door and prayed for our safety. No i didn’t call the police because i was in survival mode and watching the door waiting for something to happen like an idiot. On departure that morning we noticed 3 cigarettes were put out right in front of our room, which would be fine had our room (214) not been completely secluded. No one had any business down there as there is no outlet unless they jump over the rail. Maybe surveillance cameras would help deter this type of activity. Check out was easy. I will never stay at this location again. We are living a world where human trafficking is a big issue and for your guests to fear for their lives and their children’s lives is unacceptable.

The staff was very friendly.

The room was very filthy. The tv did not work. The fridge was not cold but ice froze over in it. The bathroom tub was absolutely in need of a serious cleaning.

Air conditioning didn’t work. Maids rude
