La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Richmond South

Very friendly staff

I booked this trip for work later on in the week. The only thing good about it was its location.

When I arrived the lobby was nice. However, when I reached to my room I noticed that the elevator made a noise when the door opened as though there was a cable loose and was going taut every time the door opened, there were pry bar marks on multiple doors including my own indicating forced entry, there were fingernail clippings in the recliner, mud and dirt in the office chair, the refrigerator had a hole in it towards the top of the door, the shower curtain rod have been ripped off the wall multiple times and had not been replaced properly, the sheets and replacement sheets I asked for both had cigarette and cigar Burns on them, there was hair in the bathroom tub, and the drain for the bathtub was chipped and broken as well as the seal around the tub itself was peeling away from the wall, I stopped looking for things to find. After that I must have took at least 12 pictures. I will never stay at Wyndham again.

Traveling with my dog. Pet friendly. Room was large. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Grounds well lit. TV was big.

Great value. Nice staff

No water pressure at all in the shower. Water just trickled out. Dresser had to be wiped down. It was dirty upon entry.

Price is ok

Beds were uncomfortable . Breakfast was not that good. But it was decent enough to stay in.

It was clean and the staff were friendly!

The toilet in our room didn’t work, but the staff quickly moved us to a new room to resolve the issue.

The beds were comfortable

1)There is a large gap under the door of the room. 2)The room smelled musty 3) The elevator was very noisy and creaky. 4)The light inside of the room, near the door did not work. 5)Staff was not mean but not inviting. 6)Sofa bed mattress had rust colored markings on the mattress. It could’ve been rust, blood, or BM idk. My 7 year old kid did not want to sleep on it but I would not have allowed her do so so. 7) This was my first time ever staying in these hotels but I’m thinking this will be my last as well if I can help it. 8) The lock on the bedroom door was kinda tricky to lock.
